Chances are you view your fiancé as your ultimate partner in crime, best friend, and go-to person when you’re in the middle of making a decision and need an honest, unbiased, and trustworthy opinion. Together, you both have had to face making small decisions together, like where to go to dinner and what movie to watch on a Friday night, to even bigger ones, like where to live or even the type of wedding you want to have.
So when it comes time to making one of the biggest staple decisions of your big day, what wedding dress you should wear, you may have an urge to bring your fiancé along for the dress shopping process.
It’s important to know that there’s no official rule that the wedding dress you wear on your wedding day has to be a secret from your fiancé until your walk down the aisle Most brides like to keep that as a surprise, but you don’t have to. You can sit, for hours, with your fiancé and look up dresses on Pinterest together, until you start to find a style that makes your eyes bulge with happiness. You can even bring him along with you to multiple stores and try on more dresses than you can count until you find the right one, together.
If you do want to keep a certain level of secrecy when it comes to your wedding dress, you can go browsing with your fiancé, see what styles catch his eye, and then leave him at home when you go back and try on dresses to find the one that you love the best.
But in the end, it’s up to you who you want in your wedding dress selection process.
