Another sneaky secret celebrity wedding to add to the list! Actress Jennifer Carpenter and musician Seth Avett are officially wed, having tied the knot over Memorial Day weekend. And while we’re uber excited for these two newlyweds, is a little heads up too much to ask for?!

Before tying the knot with her new hubby, Carpenter was married to her former Dexter co-star, Michael C. Hall. The couple split back in 2011 and two years later, the Limitless actress began dating the Avett Brothers frontman. “They have a lot in common and seem to have a similar sense of humor,” a pal said of the pair at the time. “There is an ease about their relationship. They are a good match.” News of the couple’s engagement — complete with a pretty little gold ring — broke in February of last year and Carpenter also announced that she was pregnant with their first child! The actress gave birth to their little one, a son they named Isaac, in May 2015, mere weeks after shooting the pilot for her latest show, Limitless. Phew, busy year right?

And now, Carpenter and her singing sweetheart are officially hitched! According to Us Weekly, a rep of the pair confirmed their newly married status almost three weeks after their Memorial Day weekend wedding. As surprised as we are, there were a of couple clues that hinted that these two had tied the knot. During a concert in early June, Avett had reportedly flashed his wedding ring to the audience. And his recent Instagram photos with the band also featured some new jewelry on his finger…
As for the wedding day itself, a source divulged to Us Weekly that it was a “small and private” ceremony in North Carolina — the groom’s home state. “They’re incredibly happy to be married,” the source said. And we’re happy for them! (Although we still wish we had scored an invite…)
