Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe just walked down the aisle! But, er, not in a wedding dress exactly. The reality TV star and her fiancé and final rose recipient Shawn Booth spent this past weekend at a wedding — and we’d be lying if we didn’t say this got us painfully excited for their own big day!
Bristowe served as a bridesmaid in the wedding of her close friend, and of course Booth tagged along to serve as her handsome date. The Vancouver, Canada, wedding was held at the University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology Pacific Spirit Park, People reports, and, from the looks of these social media photos, was all kinds of gorgeous.
“OMG GET MARRIED ALREADY #jesandkyle,” Bristowe, 31, captioned the cute couple shot (photo above) of her looking absolutely gorg in a lavender-looking bridesmaid dress with 29-year-old Booth — in a crisp suit with a solo cup in his hand — on her arm.

The former Bachelorette shared another Instagram of her close-up bridesmaid beauty look, thanking her glam squad in the caption. “Shout out to @alldolledupstudio for doing an unbelievable job on our make up for the wedding yesterday,” she wrote. “Side note- I cried about 13 times and not once did my make up run.”

Bristowe also shared a photo (see below) of the beautiful bride twirling on the dance floor with her new hubby, accompanied by a sentimental caption: “Our world is in need of more true, beautiful love stories. I believe if we had more true, beautiful love stories, we would have a better world. Jes and Kyle, your story is one of those beautiful love stories.” – Jes’ Mom. I absolutely loved being a part of this perfect day. Bessy cat you’re one beautiful bride. #jesandkyle
According to People, Bristowe and Booth also took to Snapchat to document their PDA-filled evening of twirling each other around and kissing on the dance floor.
Natch, this wedding weekend for the two of them has us dreaming up their own big day. But, unfortunately for us, these two seem to be in no hurry. “The pressure doesn’t get to us at all,” Booth told People in February. “We only knew each other for ten weeks before I proposed. We’re both normal people and the most normal thing we can do is wait.”
“We’re living together, we’re enjoying being engaged. When we start to plan, we’ll let everybody know!” Bristowe added.
The pair has been taking things slow since the show ended (well as slow as you can take your relationship when it starts with an engagement ring), only recently deciding to move-in together. They’ve even created their own celebrity couple name. “We call ourselves the Boothstowes,” the former Bachelorette explained to People. “But when I get married, I’m going to take his name. I’m not a traditional person, but when it comes to that, I like the idea of being traditional. I think it’s romantic.”
