Calvin Harris who? Taylor Swift had us totally convinced that she was on her way down that aisle with DJ Calvin Harris. However after a blissful 15 months together, the couple called it quits — supposedly because Harris wasn’t ready to get married yet. But cue up the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back to Together,” because the superstar songstress has a new beau in her life — British actor Tom Hiddleston. And they’ve already hit a MAJOR relationship milestone: Meeting the parents! (That’s the first step in tying the knot right?)
Romance rumors first started swirling between Swift and Hiddleston when a video surfaced of the pair adorably dancing around at a Selena Gomez concert (a.k.a. Swift’s future maid of honor, obviously).
Earlier this month, the pair officially went public with their romance. They were spotted kissing and canoodling on a beach in Rhode Island (swoon…) a couple of weeks back. And now, they were just seen strolling on another beach across the pond — with Hiddleston’s mother in tow!
According to People, the new couple jetted off to England on Friday so Swift could meet her maybe-future-mother-in-law, Diane Hiddleston, in her hometown of Suffolk. You remember meeting the parents, right? Sweaty palms, a heavily beating heart, praying that your future in-laws don’t completely hate you… But by the looks of it, this threesome got along splendidly! The happy couple and Hiddleston’s too-cute mother were all smiles in the snapshots the paparazzi snapped of the outing (see below). At one point, Hiddleston’s mom was even happily sandwiched between the pair as they walked along the English countryside!
It may be a little early in this relationship, but we’re definitely seeing future mother/daughter in-law potential here! If there ever was anyone to win over a sweetheart’s mom, it would without-a-doubt be T. Swift. Come on, who could ever be a momzilla to this face?!
