After Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna revealed they were getting married, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family made it known that they weren’t too happy with the way the pair decided to announce the engagement, as seen on a pretty hilar episode of their hit E! TV show. Even Khloé Kardashian’s BFF, Malika Haqq, had something to say about the newly engaged couple. But what does Blac Chyna’s side of the family really think?

Well, according to a recent interview with the Daily Mail, it seems Blac Chyna’s dad is all for his daughter’s future life with Rob. In a June 29th interview with the news site, Holland revealed, “Oh yeah, I’m happy of course. She knows that. As soon as I found out I was all happy for her. They’re having a baby and everything. She’s got my blessings.”

Awww! If only it could be so easy for the 28-year-old model to get the Kardashian family’s blessing. If you haven’t heard yet, what’s made it really difficult for Blac Chyna to get close to the reality TV stars is the fact that she has a 3-year-old son, King Cairo, with Kylie Jenner’s on-and-off-again boyfriend Tyga. The pair were even engaged before she linked up with Rob Kardashian, creating that much more friction in the family dynamic.

But at least, through it all, she has her dad’s unwavering support. Holland, who lives in Maryland according to Us Weekly, only has positive things to say about his future son-in-law. “I met Rob. He seems like a nice man. He was nice with me and everything so I’m happy for her,” he told the Daily Mail. The 49-year-old even revealed that his daughter in no way would be intimidated by the large Kardashian clan — because her fam is even bigger! He told the news source that his daughter has two half brothers and NINE half sisters. WOAH.

“People might think that she is from a broken home, but I know that’s not true. I always told her it’s not how you start — it’s how you finish. That’s the most important part of life, you know. We all have our ups and downs, but it’s how you deal with them.” She may not have the blessing from Kris or Caitlyn Jenner yet, but at least Blac Chyna has one amazing, supportive dad.

As for the pair’s future nuptials, according to an Us Weekly source, the duo “will get married before the baby is born in October.” We can’t wait!
