What does the potential first lady wear for her presidential candidate husband’s first national convention? Well, if you’re Jackie Kennedy a three-string strand of pearls and a V-neck taffeta dress; If you’re Michelle Obama, a turquoise frock by designer Maria Pinto. But if your political sweetheart has been married three times, well then a wedding dress is, like, the obvious choice. Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, donned a white wedding dress for her speech at Monday night’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and its chicness alone could make America great again. “Say yes to the dress,” — #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes.

Mrs. Trump may have allegedly plagiarized Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech, but at least she manages to be totally original when it comes to style. (She is a former model and has her own QVC jewelry collection, after all!) On day one of the 2016 Republican National Convention, Melania Trump took the stage in Roksanda’s off-white “Margot” dress with dramatic bell sleeves. And although the cotton-silk frock is in a leg-baring silhouette, the London-based designer markets the wedding-worthy dress as “a beautiful option for the modern bride” on Net-a-Porter — which is were Trump actually snagged the frock herself.

According to a spokeswoman who chatted with WWD, Trump simply saw the dress, liked it, and ordered it straight from the website. We can’t really picture the potential first lady casually online shopping for something to wear at her real estate tycoon husband’s first national convention, but okay, sure. The price tag, however, is far less casual, as the Roksanda dress costs over two thousand dollars — $2,190, to be exact.

If you were thinking of plagiarizing Trump’s dress for yourself — maybe for your courthouse wedding or if your own beau is considering a run for president — you’re out of luck for now. The frock is currently sold-out on Net-a-Porter. Looks like Trump’s wardrobe is now a hot commodity. Maybe they should build a wall around it.
