Is it even possible for us to love Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum anymore? Answer: Yes. Every time these two publicly declare their eternal affection for one another, post a sweet social media shoutout to their sweetheart, or just step foot out of their house, looking just so gosh darn adorable together, our obsession for this celebrity couple grows even more. And what’s not to love? The perfect pair just celebrated their seventh (!) anniversary together and are still totally smitten. So what’s their secret? These two do have blockbuster movies to act in and a three-year-old to take care of so it can’t be easy to find time to reconnect, right? Well, it actually sounds like Jenna Dewan Tatum has is all under control. The super mom/super wife/super actress just opened up on marriage, motherhood, and how she’s doing it all.
With seven years of wedded bliss now under their belts, the Tatums took to Instagram earlier this month to mark the celebratory occasion with a couple of sweet shoutout posts. While, Dewan Tatum posted two photo booth strips of silly snapshots she took with her hubby, the Magic Mike actor shared a pic of his bride silhouetted in the early morning light. “This woman, 11 years together, 7 married, Happy anniversary Cake,” Tatum captioned the artsy snapshot. (‘Cake’ is Tatum’s too-cute nickname for his wife, for the uninformed!) “Thank you baby I love you,” he wrote. “Plus you look daaaaaaaaanmm!!!” Too cute, right? But how are these two still cruising through the honeymoon phase after almost a decade of marriage — especially with a little one at home? According to the Step Up actress, it’s all about balance.
“I think it’s important to be conscious about giving everyone equal attention,” Dewan Tatum recently shared with People magazine. “I’ll think, ‘Okay, I’ve been with my daughter a lot, so Channing and I need a date night.” (We know how those go! Her hunky hubby did get seriously real about their sex life recently!)
“Some days I am better at it than others,” Dewan Tatum added. “But I just try to figure it out. Like everyone else! But I do think it’s important to consciously think about it.”
Staying conscious and balanced? Sounds like a plan to us! And we’re sure a little “show” every now and then from Jenna’s stripper-turned-A-list actor husband doesn’t hurt, either!
