Fresh-cut flowers make for beautiful wedding reception-table centerpieces, of course, but here’s an alternative you should definitely consider: potted plants. Not only are they eco-friendly (encourage guests to take them home!) but they’re likely more affordable than floral arrangements, as well. Here are some of our favorite ways to feature potted plants on your wedding tables.
Potted Plants (above): Herbs and plants potted in clean and chic vessels are modern way to decorate a reception table (don’t forget to add some fresh fruit for a bright pop of color!).

Concrete Pots: A pretty grouping of plants in different concrete urns and vases will give your dinner tables an elegant, English-garden feel.

Potted Succulents: If you’re up for DIY-ing your own centerpieces, plant a variety of succulents in small terra cotta pots and line them down the center of your reception tables.

Ferns: Delicate ferns combined with candlelit lanterns create a lush and cozy setting for your reception.

Succulents and Candles: Have your potted-succulents centerpiece perform double-duty by adding a few taper candles, as well.
