Real Couples Reveal: The Romantic Thing I Did for My Fiancé During Wedding Planning

Wedding planning can be stressful and it’s easy to forget to do the little (or big) things that will make your soon-to-be spouse happy. But these real-life couples were able to keep their eye on the prize — walking down the aisle! — while still making all kinds of romantic gestures for their partner. Here’s how they did it.

“My husband is extremely into maps; reading maps, following roads on a map to see where they go, and just genuinely interested in the world! To honor his love for maps and his love for me, I ordered him custom wedding cufflinks for him to wear on our wedding day. One link was a nod to the place where he proposed. The other link was a nod to where we would soon marry…which happened to include the street of the house he grew up in his entire life just a few blocks away.” — Miranda T., Chancey Charm Charlotte Wedding Planner

“My fiancé really wanted live music at our reception, and at one point even told me that was his childhood wedding plan. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t afford a band and had to go with a DJ. After months of planning and feeling guilty that it wouldn’t happen, I finally found the daughter of my mom’s co-worker — a very talented violinist at just 12! I surprised my husband with a string quartet of kids to play during our cocktail hour. Our guests were awed by the young talent and my husband was able to get a little piece of his wedding dream.” — Charissa F.

“I made my fiancé a darling little picture book explaining why I want to marry him. I also made a basket for him for his friends for the night before the wedding. It had mini Jameson and Baileys bottles around a six pack of Guinness so he could have an Irish car bomb with his best friends at the hotel. They really liked the surprise, but if you ask my husband he might say the most romantic thing I did was let him wear a kilt to our wedding.” — Candace F.

“One of the most memorable things I did for my fiancé was surprise her on her journey to an outstation where she has to travel for some work. I booked a seat just beside her, dropped her at a previous stop and then just hopped in at the next stop. Her expression was simply outstanding.” — Hemang R.

“For our wedding, I really wanted a mariachi band that was dear to my heart. He told me he wasn’t available on my wedding day and I was crushed. Well, turns out my husband had already booked them for us! About ten minutes left into the party, in walked the mariachi band and out poured the tears in my eyes. During the planning process, I made sure I had something special for my fiancé. He also works in the entertainment industry and had done a commercial with a mime and was obsessed. I took that idea came up with a living statue that would serve our guests my fiancé’s favorite wine.” — Andrea G., Weddings Unique

“Since I am in the thick of planning my own wedding right now, I tend to put all of our wedding to-dos on the same to-do list as the one I have for my clients. However, our own wedding to-dos always fall to the bottom of the list. My fiancé finds my to-do list and just starts randomly checking things off. Then when I come back to it the next day, I notice my load is a little lighter.” — Alex C., Taylor’d Events Group Senior Planner

Morgan Stewart and Brendan Fitzpatrick's Wedding Video! Watch the Rich Kids' Beautiful Big Day

When #RichKids of Beverly Hills stars Morgan Stewart and Brendan Fitzpatrick married in May in the most picture-perfect California wedding of all the time, our jaws dropped. The details, the venue, the decor, the dress. Now, we here at BRIDES are exclusively reliving the newlyweds’ picture-perfect big day in the most beautiful way possible: behold Morgan Stewart and Brendan Fitzpatrick’s wedding video. And just try not to tear up.

Thank goodness Pixel Perfect Wedding Films was on hand to capture all the glorious moments of the E! stars’ momentous occasion at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California. We already knew that the bride, creator of the blog Boobs and Loubs, totally slayed in a custom-made Badgley Mischka crop top wedding dress, but seeing how her bridal gown totally steals the show in this wedding video is making us drool with wedding dress envy. Stewart, literally the textbook definition of a gorgeous bride, had already impressed us here at BRIDES with her wedding dress-modeling capabilities. For our April/May 2016 issue, the reality star tried on a handful of gorgeous wedding dresses — including a magical Monique Lhuillier number and a stunning Badgley Mischka gown — in preparation for her upcoming “I dos.” And boy did she land on a stunner.

The wedding video also has us totally obsessing over all the #RichKids‘ wedding decor and details. The ceremony venue is totally picturesque, while their cocktail hour has us pinning like mad to our Pinterest boards. (That champagne escort card display?! We’re dying.) Not to mention their reception, which looks like it deserved the prize of most killer dance party venue ever — we never knew how much we needed a white and black dance floor until this minute. All set to the most epic music, which is just totally perfect for the new Mr. and Mrs. Fitzpatrick.

In addition to the gorgeous footage of the couple portraits and reception partying, we also get to see the moment Stewart and Fitzpatrick say “I do.” The couple, who got engaged last March with an over-the-top epic proposal, exchanged vows in front of around 150 guests, including a few famous faces (that we happened to spy with our little eyes), like #RichKids‘ Dorothy Wang, EJ Johnson and Jonny Drubel, and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent Josh Flagg.

So take a deep breath, grab some Kleenex and prepare yourselves for some utterly romantic, inspiring, and #Fitzperfectly perfect wedding footage.

How to Have a Zika-Free Honeymoon or Destination Wedding

zika honeymoon

Photo: Getty Images

By now, you’ve heard of the Zika virus. Transmitted by mosquito bite or during sex, the virus causes fever, rash, joint pain, and conjunctivitis, and pregnant women risk spreading the virus — which can cause serious birth defects — to their unborn children. In other words, it’s not the kind of thing you want anywhere near you, let alone at your wedding.

But because the Zika virus is prevalent in some of the most popular spots for destination weddings and tropical honeymoons — think: Aruba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Brazil, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, and even the U.S. Virgin Islands — you could be contending with this unpleasant reality soon enough.

Of course, if you’re recently engaged and haven’t yet selected the location of your destination wedding or honeymoon, the smartest way to sidestep the Zika virus is to avoid packing your bags for an infected area. You can see a complete list of where the Zika virus has been identified, and where it is most prevalent, on the Center For Disease Control’s website, here. As you’ll see, those areas include South America, Central America, the Caribbean, and French Polynesia.

If your heart is set on hosting your destination wedding in say, Jamaica, however, there are steps you can take to ensure the safety of your guests. First, inform your guests that you’ve selected a destination that’s been flagged as a Zika virus area. The perfect place? Your wedding website, where you can link to information your guests will find valuable, such as a description of the virus, it’s warning signs, and more.

Next, pack plenty of DEET insect repellant, which is safe for pregnant women and nursing mothers to use, suggests Oluwatosin Goje, M.D. at the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Specialized Women’s Health and Obstetrics. If you’re making welcome bags, slip a spray bottle — more for families — into each bag, with a note reminding guests to cover their exposed skin before they head outside.

And while we know you booked your beachside resort so that you could exchange vows with your toes in the sand, Goje encourages you to keep your ceremony and reception indoors whenever possible. The air conditioning — and the walls, of course — are your best bets for keeping mosquitos from crashing your wedding. If you opt for a partially-open space, such as an outdoor patio, ask your venue if they can hang mosquito netting to enclose the area without losing the fresh air or gorgeous views.

The same rules apply for your honeymoon, Goje says: Slather yourself in DEET insect repellant, and whenever possible, avoid open-air areas where you could be easily bitten by mosquitos. But beyond that, Goje recommends that couples schedule preconception counseling with their primary health provider. Why? Because if you plan to get pregnant on the honeymoon or soon after, traveling to a Zika area could impact your pregnancy.

See More: The Top 10 Honeymoon Resorts in Hawaii

If you travel to an area known to have the Zika virus, Goje recommends you wait at least eight to 12 weeks to before attempting to conceive. According to Goje, about 80 percent of people with the Zika virus never present any symptoms, and therefore may not be aware they have it. That’s why it’s best to wait, no matter what.

Of course, you can always visit your primary care doctor when you return to determine whether you’re a carrier for the Zika virus. With a clean bill of health, you could begin sooner. (Just ask your doctor first.) But if you’re diagnosed, unprotected sex is a no-go for at least six months, Goje says. That goes for your groom, too, because he can pass along the virus to you through sex.

Finally, if you present any of the Zika virus symptoms — which can include fever, chills, red eyes, joint pains, and headaches — within two weeks of your destination wedding or honeymoon to a known Zika virus area, you must report to your doctor.

What it Means If You Feel Tired All the Time (and What to Do About It)

classpass why are you tired

Photo: Getty Images

We live in a culture where being under-slept, overworked and over-committed is a sign of success. But what if there’s more going on than a too-packed schedule and too little shut eye?

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or tiredness lasting more than 24 hours and not improved by bed rest, affects millions of people in the U.S.—so many, in fact, that the numbers are disputed. But there could also be a number of other things contributing to your endless weariness—and some of these causes can be serious.

Is your exhaustion trying to tell you something? Is your sudden surprising lack of energy for working out a sign that something is going on with your health? Here’s what to look for.

Hypothyroidism
When your thyroid gland doesn’t produce sufficient triiodothyroidine (T3) and thyroxine (T4)—hormones responsible for all aspects of metabolism—you may experience symptoms including fatigue, weight gain, dry skin, thinning hair, muscle aches, and sensitivity to cold and blood pressure. If the hormones aren’t regulated, your body may not use fats and carbohydrates properly, and because these are your body’s preferred sources of fuel, you may feel lethargic. If you’re experiencing any of the above symptoms, talk to your health care provider. A simple blood test can show any deregulation of your thyroid hormone levels.

Adrenal imbalance
Your adrenal glands sit atop your kidneys and regulate stress hormones in the body, primarily cortisol and adrenaline. External factors like job stress, relationships, lack of sleep, over-exercising, dieting and emotional distress can upset the balance and timing of when these hormones are released, causing unusual exhaustion.

Fatigue in this case might feel like a strange combination of “tired and wired.” You might feel unmotivated or notice your endurance is suffering. If this is the case, take stock of your daily responsibilities, your self-care and, yes, your caffeine consumption. Removing some stress (or taking care of your body and mind when possible) might help with the fatigue. You may also wish to speak to a naturopath about holistic remedies to calm the body and restore energy.

Anxiety and depression
Anxiety can cause fatigue due to the ever-shifting levels of adrenaline and cortisol pulsing through the body. Meanwhile, depression often interrupts the healthy habits that prevent fatigue—proper sleep, eating well, exercising, socializing—and can contribute to prolonged tiredness. Being unmotivated to move around slows metabolism, telling your body it doesn’t need to generate and use energy as normal. Working with a mental health professional to adjust lifestyle, schedule, thought processes and sometimes medication can be helpful in reducing fatigue.

Overactive immune system
That feeling of intense exhaustion you get just before a cold comes on isn’t coincidental. That’s your body redirecting its energy and resources to fight off bacteria. If this feeling persists for a long time—and you’re not experiencing noticeable symptoms of a cold or flu—your body might be fighting off another virus altogether. Consider drinking more fluids and resting more to help your body fight off invaders. If you’re concerned it’s something more serious, consult a medical practitioner.

Anemia
Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, a protein that transports oxygen to all the cells in the body. A lack of red blood cells, often caused by an iron deficiency, is called anemia. This is the most common type of anemia, but it can also be caused by a genetic inheritance; pregnancy; blood loss; or an iron deficiency caused by a digestive condition, autoimmune condition, or a nutrient-devoid diet. Anemia can lead to excessive fatigue because your heart has to work extra hard to send oxygen to your cells, and an overworked heart and under-oxygenated cells are a perfect combination for low energy.

A blood test can easily show if you’re anemic, and small shifts in diet can make a big difference. Plant-based foods like dark leafy green veggies, legumes, dried apricots, raisins, molasses, and fortified breads, cereals and pasta provide non-heme iron. Heme iron comes from animal sources (think oysters, red meat and dark meat poultry). A combination of both in the diet can be effective at replenishing iron stores, as can a food-based supplement.

Sleep apnea or other sleep disorders
Unsurprisingly, not getting enough sleep (or enough good quality sleep) can contribute to chronic fatigue. Aim to get at least eight hours of shut-eye each night. If you suspect you have a sleep disorder, like sleepwalking, night terrors or sleep apnea, you may wish to speak with a sleep professional affiliated with the American Sleep Association. An overnight stay in a facility may show you that you’re awake more often than you think during the night, or that you’re missing out on substantial restorative REM sleep.

Unstable blood sugar
You know that crash you experience after a carb-heavy lunch, the kind of crash that makes it tough to stay awake at your desk? If you’re experiencing something similar frequently throughout the day, your blood sugar may be out of whack (and perhaps the culprit behind your sleepiness).

When blood sugar levels fall too low, energy supply to your tissues, especially the brain, is impaired. When blood sugar spikes too high, energy can be diverted to your pancreas and digestive tract to help address the influx of glucose, taking it away from other processes like mental function and muscle contraction. Aim for a balanced diet with ample fiber and protein that’s also low in sugar and refined carbohydrates. Also reconsider the timing of your meals to find the best regulatory schedule for your body. You may also wish to do a fasting blood glucose test with a doctor to see if you’re at risk for diabetes or hypoglycemia.

5 Hairstyle Ideas for Brides With Short Hair

short hair style

Photo: Paper Antler

Figuring out how to wear your hair on your wedding day might seem like a simple task, but brides-to-be know that it can be an extremely stressful decision. It’s especially challenging for those with shorter hair, since there are seemingly less options, what with all those towering updos and cascading waves taking up the pages of wedding blogs and magazines everywhere. However, Dennis Ramirez, expert stylist at Brighton Salon in Beverly Hills, completely disagrees. In fact, he argues that short hair for your big day can be even more fun and creative than traditional long locks. With the rise in popularity of bobs and lobs, shorter hair has never been more en vogue, so brides should definitely embrace it!

Here are five simple looks Ramirez believes are sure to be both eye-catching and glamorous for any bride on her special day.

1. Retro
There’s nothing more classic than old Hollywood glam on your wedding day. “Finger waves are head turning, striking, and glamorous. They add a soft feminine touch that’ll blend beautifully with any bridal style,” says Ramirez. First, shampoo, condition, and prep your wet hair with a strong brushable gel, such as Oribe’s Gel Serum. Then, with a fine tooth comb, comb the hair starting from the top of the head forward. Pinching the hair with your fingers, form a hard ridge, and then pin and work your way down the head. Once fully dry, lightly brush through for a softer look or leave untouched for a classic ’20s style.

2. Jewelry & Decorative Accents
For shorter cuts, Ramirez suggests dressing your hair up with hair accessories. But don’t forget the prep before placing on a tiara or bejeweled comb. “Using a light oil such as Shu Uemura Essence Absolute for moisture and shine, lightly texturize or sleek the hair down, prepping for the perfect accessory,” he says.

3. Braids

“Opting for bigger, looser braids will give a bride a soft angelic look,” says Ramirez. Making the look looser also adds volume where your hair needs it most. “Waterfall braids, fishtails, inverted, any shape is achievable on short hair! Oh, and there’s an extra bonus: When braided hair is combed out, any hair type will have an amazing texture for an easy second look.”

4. Chignon
A chignon is a classic style that totally works well on shorter hair. “Short hair can be easily teased, shaped low or high, or even pulled to the side,” Ramirez comments. Just remember to use bobby pins!

5. Top Knot
A high, loose messy bun is perfect for a low-maintenance bride that doesn’t want a traditional style. Using a ponytail or bun as a base, wrap the rest of your hair around elegantly. “This brings attention to the bride’s veil, eyes, and makeup,” says Ramirez. Don’t forget to secure any loose shorter hairs that may fail in the back with hairspray and bobby pins.

5 Things Every Mother of the Bride Should Have on Hand for the Wedding Day

mother of the bride with bride

Photo: Getty Images

The mother of the bride is usually a VIP wedding guest, responsible only for enjoying herself and entertaining the guests. However, it’s a good idea for her to be prepared with a few basic supplies on the wedding day, just in case something unexpected goes wrong.

The goal is to be so well organized on the big day that none of these back-up items that Mom brings in her magic bag will be needed. But the way Murphy’s Law works, chances are her daughter will only have those emergencies if she isn’t prepared to cope with them.

All the mother of the bride needs to do is fill a small tote bag with a few key items:

1. A mini bridal emergency kit with safety pins, aspirin, Benadryl, Imodium, and tampons. Most wedding professionals will not hand out any medication — we’re not even supposed to give you Advil — because our liability insurance prohibits it. Unfortunately, strange things happen to our bodies when we’re under a lot of stress. I’ve seen brides break out in hives on the morning of their wedding, and others spend the entire day locked in the bathroom because their tummy is acting funny. Mom should be prepared to treat any eventuality, just like she was when her daughter was little.

2. Fabric scissors are a must.
Regular scissors will destroy most fabrics, and if you have errant threads on the wedding party’s outfits, or God forbid, the wedding dress, you don’t want to risk doing more damage than good in your efforts to remove it. Most wedding venues don’t have good scissors handy when you need them.

3. Freeze a bottle of water and wrap it in a soft hand towel. It’s going to be a long day, and sometimes you need something wet and cold handy on short notice. The towel will keep it from sweating on everything else in the bag, and you can use the towel to gently blot the bride’s face when she gets sweaty. Paper towels are more likely to destroy carefully applied bridal makeup. A wet towel, or frozen bottle of water, held to the back of the neck can help revive a bride who is feeling light-headed.

4. Shout wipes always come in handy at the wedding, although hopefully the mother of the bride will not need them for the bride’s gown. Guests spill on themselves, and members of the wedding party have accidents, too. Once a mom, always a mom — some will look to the mother of the bride for help fixing the problem.

5. Bring a disposable razor in case a member of the bridal party has forgotten to shave her armpits on the day of the wedding. Crude as it may sound to whip a razor out and hand it to someone, it’s better than letting a bridesmaid go less-than-groomed down the aisle in a strapless dress.

Honeymoon Beauty: 3 Tips for Keeping Your Skin Flawless on the Plane

The last thing your skin wants right after your wedding is to pile on more makeup. You want to give your skin a little bit of a treat by taking it easy on the makeup and focusing on revitalizing after a long weekend of wedding stress and happy late nights. But what if you’re immediate post-wedding destination is a honeymoon-bound, skin-drying plane? It’s time to up the ante on the skincare and give your face an in-flight experience you’ll thank us for when you go makeup free all honeymoon long.

Misting Is Your Best Flight Friend
The secret to perfect skin post plane? Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Drinking plenty of water on the plane is a must, but for even dewier skin, make sure you’re moisturizing throughout your flight. A lightweight formula like H20 Skindrink will cool and refresh your skin for the long haul. You can’t go wrong with a Hydrating Milky Mist ($15) for added freshness mid-air. Spritz on the plane, and right before you land, and your honeymoon photos will never betray how long your flight was.

Nourish Overnight
If your honeymoon destination begs for an overnight flight, there’s nothing like a sleep mask to get you through the long haul. A Nourishing Sleep Mask ($22) will make your red eye flight look like a thing of the past. Want to arrive with that bridal glow intact? Add a dollop of Pixi’s concentrated Hydrating Milky Serum ($24) for an added boost of nourishment that will have you looking radiant upon touch down.

Upon Landing
Fastening your seatbelt, and bringing your seat back to its upright position aren’t the only things you should consider as your plane makes its way to your destination. Add another layer of that wonderful hydrating mist to ensure hydration, and make sure your eyes don’t betray how long your flight was. Pack an eye roller in your carry-on (we love Pixi’s 24K Eye Elixir, ($22) to banish any sign of puffiness or fatigue, your bag will be waiting for you at baggage claim, not under your eyes! A swipe of highlighter on your cheekbones and just a hint of lip color (the MultiBalm works for both!), and you’re ready to enjoy the romantic honeymoon of your dreams.

2 Broke Girls Star Beth Behr and Mad Men's Michael Gladis are Engaged!

After six years of dating, Beth Behr and Michael Gladis are finally engaged! The two-cute Hollywood duo announced their engagement over the weekend with a series of adorable social media shout outs.

The 30-year-old 2 Broke Girls actress and her 38-year-old fiancé, known for his role on Mad Men, celebrated their engagement with a rooftop party at New York City’s Parkside Lounge surrounded by friends and family. They each shared photos on their social media accounts (see below), with Behr posting on Instagram “6 years down a lifetime to go!”

Their rooftop party was a pretty crazy one by the sound of it, because Gladis tweeted early Monday that he was “So happy. So relieved. So hung over!”

They may have partied the night away at the Parkside Lounge, but their private bash wasn’t where Gladis got down on one knee. Behr revealed to E! News that Gladis proposed to her at sunset on the rooftop of fellow Mad Men star Christina Hendricks and her husband Geoffrey Arned’s apartment. Gladis even hired a jazz band to play her favorite Miles Davis/John Coltrane song (though she didn’t reveal which song that is).

“It was magical,” Behr told E!. “I was sobbing!”

Though the two have been dating since 2010 (according to our calculations), they have been very private about their relationship. They don’t make frequent appearances on each other’s social pages, and they don’t go into details about their relationship in interviews, either. In fact, it’s safe to say that most fans didn’t know they they were dating until this weekend!

A Glamorous Wedding in Scottsdale, Arizona — With a Seriously Pretty Surprise Ending

Formal Desert Wedding in Scottsdale Arizona, Bride and Groom Portrait

Not everyone takes a limousine on a weekend getaway to Santa Barbara. So you can imagine Michele Kaloski’s surprise when she walked out of the home she shared with Jonathan Littrell, ready to throw her luggage in their car, only to find a stretch limousine blocking the drive, a chauffeur ready to pop a bottle of bubbly. As a photographer snapped photos of Michele’s startled expression, she turned to Jonathan and found him on one knee, a sparkling diamond ring in his hand. “It took me quite a few moments to realize what was actually happening,” she says.

And that road trip to Santa Barbara? It never happened. Michele soon learned that being told to plan for a beach getaway was just a ploy to get her to pack bathing suits for a romantic escape Jonathan had planned in Maui.

Once the excitement around their engagement finally settled down, the pair turned their attention to planning their October 17, 2015, wedding. Michele and Jonathan asked 120 guests to join them at the Four Seasons in Scottsdale, Arizona, where they organized an over-the-top celebration that steered clear of any rustic vibes. With the help of the team at Some Like It Classic, the bride and groom chose a romantic color palette made up of hues of cream, blush, silver, and gold and put together an event that was every bit the sparkling party Michele had envisioned. Amy & Jordan Photography was there to document every moment of their gorgeous fall day, all seen below.

The couple chose Scottsdale for their wedding since it was in close proximity to the bride’s parent’s summer home. “The resort felt like a hidden gem tucked away in the beautiful Sonoran Desert,” Michele says. “The grounds have a sophisticated southwestern appeal and are simply enchanting at sunset with watercolor skies, an awe-inspiring boulder mountain backdrop, and saguaro cactus landscape.”

Invitations were made to complement that landscape, made from a mix of traditional calligraphy script and funky Western-style fonts, something Michele says you might have once seen on an old wanted poster.

The bride knew she wanted to wear a mermaid-style wedding dress down the aisle. The Eve of Milady dress she selected, a strapless ivory gown with a dramatic ruffled tulle skirt and sheer lace bodice, was the third she tried on. But Michele kept her remaining bridal salon appointments so that she could soak up the time trying on gorgeous silhouettes with her friends and mother.

Michele, who owns fashion accessories company Platinum Minx, found her jewelry almost as easily. She incorporated her own designs into her wedding day look, and also gifted her bridesmaids earrings from her collection.

Jonathan donned a custom made deep blue tuxedo with black satin lapels, black pants, and a black bow tie. He pinned a garden spray rose with touches of dusty miller to his lapel, while Michele carried a tightly-packed bouquet of garden roses, dahlias, and apricot stock blossoms pulled together with a rhinestone wrap. Tucked inside the bouquet were several crystal brooches, including tan antique one that belong to the bride’s grandmother and served as her something old.

Because each of Michele’s bridesmaids had different body types, the bride asked each woman to chose any charcoal gray chiffon gown from the same Monique Lhuillier collection. “It was important to me that all of the bridesmaid’s felt both comfortable and beautiful in what they were wearing that day,” Michele says. “I loved how the various cuts of each dress showed a bit of their personality and could still looked unified with color.”

The bridesmaids carried bouquets that mimicked the bride’s arrangement with ivory flowers and glittering brooches, but with heavier hints of succulents. “That gave each a point of difference and was a subtle nod our southwestern surroundings,” the bride says.

“Our ceremony was rather short and sweet,” says Michele. The couple decided not to write their own vows, but did ask a close friend to read “The Apache Wedding Blessing,” which they felt was unique while giving a nod to their natural setting.

But that was hardly the only unique part of their ceremony. As they recessed down the aisle, their string quartet played “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift.

Guests were greeted by a grand sight in the Four Season’s ballroom, where the reception was held: The entire space was washed in soft pink and purple light, and decorated with towering floral arrangements with glittering crystals. A massive monogram, projected by spotlight behind the head table, was designed by the bride.
