First comes the rose, then comes the ring. So what comes next for The Bachelorette couple, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers? The engagement party, of course! The to-be-wedded duo were just treated to a surprise engagement bash at their hands of both their families. The things we would’ve done to score an invite…
After Fletcher chose Rodgers as ‘the one’ and the groom-to-be in turn proposed on The Bachelorette finale just a few weeks ago, these two have been moving forward with their relationship at warp speed. And why shouldn’t they? After all, the too-cute couple were forced to keep their love under wraps until the much-anticipated finale aired. Two weeks ago, the reality show sweethearts made the move from Tennessee to Texas to move into their nearly-wed nest in Dallas. And next on the agenda was an engagement party to celebrate their relationship status!
The darling duo headed to a Texas restaurant on Saturday night where they were expecting to meet a few friends for dinner, according to E! News. But they were actually in for quite the sweet shock when both of their families were there for a surprise engagement bash. “My heart is so full!” Fletcher captioned an Instagram snapshot of her and her hubby-to-be’s families. “Jordan and I were going out to what we thought was just a little dinner with friends but instead walked into a room full of both our friends and family to celebrate in our engagement. We are so incredibly blessed,” she wrote, including the hashtag “#fletchersmeettherodgers.”

Rodgers was also moved by the surprise gesture, sharing a photo of himself and his older brother, Luke Rodgers, and writing “When you think you are just going to dinner with your fiancé and a few friends and you walk into a room full of both your families and best friends! So blessed to not only have found the love of my life @joelle_fletcher, but have an amazing family and new family to share a life with. So blessed to do life with these people!”
It’s always a relief when the families of the bride and groom get along. And if these photos are any indication, the future Fletcher/Rodgers family dinners and holidays are bound to be a blast!
