The space you use as your bridal suite on your wedding day, whether it’s a hotel room or a hidden room at the venue, will be your fortress for your big day. It’ll be a place that you and your bridesmaids can drop off their bags, use as refuge when in need of a moment of quiet, and perhaps get ready in the morning of your big day. That’s why you want to make sure the bridal suite is stocked with a few necessities so that your bridal squad doesn’t have to leave the wedding to hunt for toiletries or even a quick solution to sore feet. Wondering what you should keep in the suite? Here are the top 9 essentials you must stock in your bridal suite.
1. To-Go Snacks
The day will be long and having snacks around will truly benefit all members of the bridal party. Stock the room with snacks they can eat easily and that aren’t too messy.
2. Band-Aids
Because blisters are a given for everyone involved in the wedding. The more you have on hand, the more girls in your squad you can count on to man the dance floor all night without having to sit down.
3. Mini-Water Bottles
Since the wedding day is a long one and your bridal party will be on-the-go, have mini-bottles of water in the bridal suite that they can grab and chug between photo sessions and other tasks.
4. Phone Chargers
Chances are your bridesmaids will be taking photos and helping you document the details of your day on their phones. Having spare phone chargers around will let your bridal party take a break in a noise-free space and charge-up their phones.
5. Fashion Tape
Last minute dress emergencies are bound to happen, and one of the fastest ways of solving these fashion mishaps is with double-sided tape. Total pre-aisle lifesaver!
6. Extra Chairs
If your designated bridal suite at the venue is somewhere that doesn’t have much opportunity for seating, ask if chairs to be moved inside. This will give your bridal party a space to relax before the main event.
7. Hangers
Try to have as many hangers as possible in the bridal suite. If not, you may have clothes everywhere by the end of the night — especially if you’re planning on doing wedding dress outfit changes or having your girls change into their dresses on-site.
8. Flip Flops
When everyone’s feet need a break, have extra flip-flops available, just in case one of your girls forgot to pack a pair of flats for the dance floor.
9. A Curling Iron
Constant running around or worse — the weather — may make bridesmaids’ curls fall out. Having a curling iron for these hair emergencies will let your bridesmaids do a last-minute hair touch up if they need one.
