Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec Honeymoon in the Most Romantic Place on Earth: See the Photos

Life is just getting better and better for newlyweds Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson. After throwing the wedding of their dreams earlier this month in a luxurious Los Angeles ceremony, the married couple has now jet-set to one of the most romantic places on earth: Bora Bora, of course! Their gorgeous, honeymoon island escape is giving us all major bouts of envy, TBH.

Johnson, who first met Herjavec on the 20th season of Dancing With the Stars, looked absolutely radiant in her white “Mrs.” swimsuit and adorable straw hat. She posted the photo on her Instagram account, which now has the handle @kymherjavec5678 awww, and gave shout outs to the companies who graciously gifted her with top-notch honeymoon style. Ya know, in case you want to rock that bathing suit on your honeymoon with bae.

It seems like Johnson isn’t the only one enjoying soaking up the sun, either. Her new hubby couldn’t help but flaunt his incredible, blue water view on his Instagram page saying, “No filter! Work hard, play hard — repeat!” We bet THAT makes the Shark Tank sharks puh-retty jealous, no? Whether or not they really are is up in the air, but it’s hard to deny that Herjavec and Johnson’s love isn’t envy worthy.

When the Shark Tank star proposed back in February, the couple were sure the last thing they wanted to do was wait a long time before walking down the aisle. “Why waste time?” Johnson told ET Online. And as for their DWTS co-stars, they could tell it was love at first sight. “I think it was instant,” Derek Hough told ET. “When I found out they were dancing together I was like, first of all, that’s the man of her dreams. The fact that he felt the same about her — I couldn’t be happier for them.”

It’s a whirlwind romance for the books, that’s for sure!

4 Things to NOT Do the Week of Your Wedding

What Not to Do Before Your Wedding

Photo: Getty Images

The week leading up to your wedding is undoubtedly the most exciting, busy, and emotional time of your life. With last minute to-dos, arrangements, phone calls, confirmations and more — it’s the last bit of time to ensure everything is a-ok and ready to go. While it’s completely normal to feel a bit anxiously motivated to accomplish some last minute endeavors you otherwise hadn’t thought of until now — refrain! Trust us, you’ll definitely want to avoid doing these four things during your wedding week.

Invasive Beauty Treatments
Injections, peels, lasers, oh my. While there are tons of really great anti-aging, complexion enhancing and overall beautifying treatments out there that we adore, they are not meant for the week leading up to your wedding. Depending on the treatment, you run the risk of side effects including redness, swelling, peeling, allergic reactions — the list goes on. The time to experiment with these procedures is at least two-four weeks prior your walk down the aisle. Should the urge to book a last minute effort arise, speak to the estheticians about safe, non-invasive options that can relax and rejuvenate you instead.

Change Your Hair Color
All professional stylists and colorists will agree — the week before your wedding is not the time to change your hair color ESPECIALLY on a whim, or impulse. Pre-wedding hair coloring should be completed at least 7-10 days before you’re officially a Mrs. as new color needs time to oxidize and settle before being professionally styled and photographed. Hair color consults should be booked about three months before the wedding to ensure you have the perfect hair hue for you, with the actual coloring falling within a 7-14 day window. (This also allows enough time for any color correction, toning, or glazing that you may wish to have done, too!)

Crash Diet
We know everyone wants to look, feel, and be the best versions of themselves as they walk down the aisle — but the time to drastically change your diet or exercise regimen is NOT these precious 7 days. Not only can crash dieting, or intense modifications to your daily routine wreak havoc on your alertness, complexion and mood — it’s entirely unhealthy and potentially dangerous. (It can also have the opposite result you had hoped for, too.) By this time, your final fitting has happened and you know you look amazing in your bridal best. Even if you are a few pounds away from where you “thought” you’d be — take pride in how far you have come, and focus instead on how your husband’s (and everyone else’s) jaw will drop at the first glimpse of the bride. (You!)

Make Any Wedding Changes
Cold feet and pre-wedding anxiety are natural for many brides-to-be, especially the week before the big day. But making any last minute decisions should be avoided at all costs — however big or small. Unless any circumstances change that are beyond your control, everything you have decided and chosen has been carefully thought over and planned, and should not be amended at such a vulnerable and hectic time. Calm your nerves and second guesses by channeling confidence in the decisions you have made, and know that your wedding will be everything you wanted it to be.

6 Secrets for Throwing the Most Epic Wedding Your Friends Will Ever Attend

Of course we want you to have fun at your own wedding. But as Amy Nichols, owner of Amy Nichols Special Events and co-founder of The Poppy Group, points out, making your wedding a fun experience for guests is a major component to pulling off a successful wedding. “There are probably 50 to 250 more people who are also choosing to spend five-plus hours with you, so it is important to keep their comfort and enjoyment in mind,” Nichols said. So here’s how to ensure that yours is the most fun wedding reception your guests will ever attend — trust us.

1. Keep your guests comfortable.
The No. 1 enemy of fun? Discomfort. Case in point: If your guests are sweating to proverbial death at your outdoor reception or getting eaten alive by mosquitos, they might not enjoy the signature cocktails or epic dessert bar you so carefully crafted. Consider what your guests will go through at your wedding, Two Little Birds Planning owner Jaclyn Fisher says, and then go from there.

For example, if you’re hosting an outdoor fête with a chance of serious heat on the side, consider greeting your guests with cold lemonade or tea. Conversely, winter wedding guests would love a cup of hot cider or cocoa when they arrive, she says. “A basket of flip flops near the dance floor is a much appreciated gift for your guests’ tired, dancing feet,” she adds. “And be ready with amenities in the restrooms full of items that your guests might need including mints, safety pins, and a sewing kit. These little extras will make your guests feel well taken care of.”

2. Keep the party moving.
Almost as important as keeping the party going is keeping it moving in the right direction, Nichols says. “Sitting around and waiting is a buzz kill,” she warns. “So work with your planner to ensure things happen at the right pace. Cocktails should be no more than one hour. And guests shouldn’t wait more than 20 to 30 minutes between courses. Guests notice when things drag, and ultimately they want to get on the dance floor.”

3. Get your guests on the dance floor ASAP.
According to Fisher, “The key to a super fun reception is a lot of dancing, but waiting until the end of the night to get your guests on the dance floor could be a mistake.” Rather, she says, open up the dance floor the second you finish your first dance. “The focus is already on the dance floor and guests will be excited to join the couple for a few songs,” she explains.

4. Add in some unexpected entertainment.
Guests come to your wedding expecting to eat and dance. What they don’t expect? A salsa performance or palm reader, says Fisher. “Lawn games such as oversized jenga, giant chess or checkers, bocce ball, and corn hole are a great way for guests to have some good old-fashioned fun,” she adds. “Or a tasting station with beer, wine, and your favorite spirit, complete with an expert, offers a unique interactive experience.”

5. Make sure there is enough food.
According to Nichols, “A fed guest is a happy guest!” That means making sure there is ample food for every guest to have his or her fill. “There’s nothing worse than arriving to a reception where the hors d’ oeuvres have already been wiped out by other guests,” Nichols says. Plus, she adds, you’ll want to talk to your caterer to make “sure that the flow of the food service will be efficient and timely so that guests will have more than enough to meet their needs.”

6. Offer a late-night snack.
Your guests may have the nibbles after an intense workout on the dance floor. If you feed them a snack in the wee hours of your wedding, Fisher says, they’ll be forever grateful. “Treat guests to some of your local favorites with a late-night food station guaranteed to give everyone the extra energy needed to keep the party going,” the Philadelphia-based planner suggests, adding that, “Philly soft pretzels, Philly cheesesteaks, and Federal Donuts are among the favorites of my Philadelphia couples.”

Victoria's Secret Model Isabeli Fontana Basically Just Wore a Bikini to Her Wedding

This Victoria’s Secret Angel now has both her wings and a wedding ring! (Lucky girl…) Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana — whose credits include the lingerie giant, Versace, Ralph Lauren, and Sports Illustrated — just married Diego Ferrero in the Maldives. So what does one wear for a beautiful beachy wedding like that? Well, a bridal white bikini naturally! Wait — what?!

Yes, for her wedding day, Fontana wore nothing save for a completely sheer sheath, which showed off her sexy swimsuit underneath. (See the gorgeous photos below.) Only a Victoria’s Secret model could get away with wearing a bikini to her wedding. Actually, scratch that! What’s stopping you from exchanging your big tulle ball gown for an itty bitty bikini?

Should we really be so surprised that a bride who has graced the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue would wear a swimsuit to her nuptials? And look damn good in it, we might add! On August 9, the supermodel and her sweetheart headed to the sandy shores of the Maldives to tie the knot, setting the stage for their beachy big day with message-in-a-bottle inspired wedding invitations. According to WhoWhatWear, the sheer sheath Fontana wore for her “I do’s” was a custom design by Agua de Coco, a Brazilian swimwear label (no shocker there, right?). The daring look included leaf-motif beading along the super sheer tulle, with Fontana rocking a strapless bikini top and high-waisted bikini bottom underneath. How’s that for a unique bridal style?

In her wedding photos (below), Fontana and her new hubby can be seen embracing in the sand and surf after getting hitched under a heart-shaped arch adorned with sea grass — even standing on a set of wooden stairs in the middle of the ocean. But hey, if a unexpected wave splashed up, who cares? This bride’s wedding ensemble is totally conducive to taking a quick dip after the “I do’s.”

Maybe there’s actually a few more benefits to this out-there wedding day look than we originally thought… If you get overheated from dancing the night away, you’re all set to cool off in the surf. No need to even do a quick change. Hmm

Central Florida is steeped in history and there’s no better way to capture its beauty than by saying “I do” amongst gorgeous gardens and stunning old homes. With options less than 30 minutes from downtown, couples can have both city and country vibes for their wedding weekend festivities. We’ve whittled down the options to five of our favorites with ceremony spots that contain rose gardens, gazebos, and stately manors — where the setting is so perfect, there are even peacocks strutting to greet you. Here are five beautiful Orlando wedding venues for your Central Florida nuptials.

The Alfond Inn
Whether you’re tying the knot with a party of five or 500, couples can find just what they’re looking for at the Winter Park hotel. The centerpiece Conservatory is the perfect spot for a natural light-filled ceremony under the glass dome — with views looking out to the courtyard. Going grand for the afterparty? The 5,000-square-foot ballroom is a blank canvas that can take on any look of your liking (thanks to its neutral tones that transform completely with the right lighting and décor).

Leu Gardens
Southern charm oozes at every turn on the 50-acre botanical garden that borders downtown Orlando and Winter Park. Exchange vows in the gazebo in the gardens surrounded by rows of roses and camellias, or take the ceremony to the shaded porch of the white column-lined historic home that dates back to 1858. Built in 1924, this old Florida home is just 10 minutes from downtown — but really feels like you’ve escaped to the countryside. The rustic-chic ballroom still has its original stone fireplace and is lined with hardwood pine floors and beautiful beamed ceilings. This setup looks even more dazzling covered with strands of fairy lights. For the brides that have large guest lists, throw in the building’s brick courtyard, Florida Room, and its manicured golf greens outside and you’ve got room for up to 600 guests. There’s even an onsite bridal suite for brides to get get prepped in style on the big day. Read real brides’ reviews here!

Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens
Czech sculptor Albin Polasek custom-designed his Winter Park home on Lake Osceola, which has now been transformed into a museum — featuring 200 of the more than 400 works of art he crafted. Use the lake as a dreamy waterfront setting for your ceremony, saying “I do” in the sculpture garden filled with pieces by Polasek, as well as a few other 20th century artists. Highland Manor
This Apopka manor is like a scene from Gone with the Wind and will have you feeling just as much of a Southern belle as Scarlett O’Hara. Hundred-year-old oak trees line the 11-acre estate’s rolling pastures, all just 30 minutes from downtown. The magnificent oaks are also a favorite ceremony spot for couples going for a natural setting — and the roaming peacocks add an even more magical touch to wedding day photos. BRIDES' 30 Day Wedding Shape-Up Challenge: Day 10, Have a Plan B

30 Day Wedding Workout Day 10

Photo: Getty Images

This is it… The final countdown to your big day. And along with settling those last few details — figuring out where to seat your eccentric Uncle Carl, firming up the flowers, deciding on your first dance song — you’re likely also making one last push to make sure the body that will be wearing that gorgeous white gown looks as good as it possibly can. You and nearly every other woman with an engagement ring on her finger. In fact, research shows that an overwhelming 91 percent of brides-to-be are anxious about their weight. But from here on out, you won’t have to be!

Whether you want to drop those last few pounds or look more toned — or both — we’ve got a month’s worth of daily tips (none of which require starving yourself or working out nonstop!) that will help you feel stunning and confident when you walk down that aisle. You know where to send the thank-you card. Let’s get started!

Day 10: Have a Workout Plan B

Between fittings, fielding RSVPs and all the other wedding insanity you’re dealing with on top of all your everyday life stuff, your schedule is bound to be jammed and highly unpredictable right now.

“With so much going on, regular workouts are often one of the first things people ditch,” says Beverly Hills celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson. “Something pops up unexpectedly and suddenly it’s sayonara spinning class.”

A good way to prevent that from happening — and keep your workouts on track — is to have a backup plan.

Keep a bag of workout clothes in your car or office, so if you can’t make it to the gym in the morning, you can fit it in at lunch, or on your way home. Or pick up a pair of dumbbells and keep them in your living room, so if all else fails, you can do strength moves while you watch TV at night. Pepper some jumping jacks or mountain climbers in between your toning exercises and you can get a totally legit strength-and-cardio workout while you watch American Idol.

Who Gets Invited to Your Bridal Shower?

When to have a bridal shower

Photo: Steven Stuts

You probably finalized your wedding guest list long ago, but not everyone is going to make the cut for the pre-nuptial events — and that includes the bridal shower. According to the Emily Post Institute, “A shower should be an intimate party — not a gathering that rivals the wedding — so the guest list is usually made up of the couple’s close friends, family, and attendants.” That being said, narrowing down your guest list to the select few can be tricky. While it’s up to the host to decide on the number of guests, consider these factors before turning your list over to her.

1. Have an open discussion with your party hostess.
It’s up to the host to decide the number of guests,” says the Emily Post Institute. After all, she’s footing the bill! Once a shower date is set, talk with your host(s) about the number of guests they feel comfortable having, and give her a list of must-have attendees. If your list puts you past that number, consider having more than one shower — perhaps one for friends and one for family. But do not ask to go over the guest count. Your host wants to make you happy, but you don’t want to stretch her wallet too thin.

2. Multiple showers are okay.
Sometimes, more than one person wants to throw you a shower — and generally speaking, that’s totally okay! But be sure to make each guest list unique based on the host. “Generally, only close family and members of the wedding party may be invited to more than one shower,” notes the Emily Post Institute. Your mom, grandmothers, sisters, and future in-laws should be invited to all showers. But if you’re having a shower hosted by bridesmaids, consider keeping that list to friends-only, while the shower hosted by your aunts can include extended family and your mom’s close friends. If your in-laws are hosting a shower, tip the balance towards their side, and keep your list to immediate family.

3. All shower guests should be wedding guests.
This may seem obvious, but inviting people who aren’t invited to the wedding can happen — especially when a bride and groom are having a smaller wedding and want to make friends feel included in some way. This may only go to offend them even more, and make it look like you’re pandering for gifts. The only exception should be for an office bridal shower, where coworkers want to impart well wishes on the bride.

4. Keep it intimate.
When it comes to inviting friends, it may be hard to narrow down your list, but the shower really is for your nearest and dearest. Invite your bridal party, and 3-5 close friends. Do not feel obligated to invite the groomsmen’s significant others or friends of your sister’s unless you truly have a close relationship with them. A shower should be a healthy mix of family and the friends who know you best. After all, how else will they be able to win all those fun shower games?

4 Secrets to Glowing Wedding Ready Skin

pixi glowing skin

Photo: Getty Images

If there’s one thing all brides can agree on, it’s that they’re all searching for that ethereal bridal glow. From changing up your skin routine, to upping your water and super food intake, we’ve got 4 easy ways to make that search within reach.

1. Switch Up Your Routine: If you’re stuck in a rut, um, routine, it might be time to change things up. Focus on cleansing, toning, and moisturizing day and night, but also add a serum or oil (like Pixi’s Rose Oil Blend, $24) to maximize hydration and nourishment.

2. Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate: The secret to unearthing glowing sking? Sloughing off all the stuff that’s hiding it. Make sure exfoliation is part of your new skin care regimen. Look for a toner you can use daily (or every other day if you have sensitive skin), is alcohol free, and relies on natural products like ginseng to remove dead skin cells. Pixi’s Glow Tonic ($29) has glow built in the name and it does all that plus helps tone, and tighten.

3. Mask It Up: Want to see results fast at home? Start making time for a weekly spa session with an at-home mask. All you need is 15 minutes (once or twice a week) with Pixi’s Glow Mud Mask ($22) to reveal balanced, glowing skin.

4. Drink More Water: Everyone says it, and it’s true, you’ll see a difference in your skin when you start drinking more water. If you’re not already getting your recommended 8 oz., make sure to sneak in some extra sips. Make it a habit by adding lemons and cucumbers for fruit and an extra dose of skin boosting benefits.

5. Sneak in Super Foods: It’s true, some foods really do carry skin-boosting properties. Avocados and salmon are widely known to give skin that extra glow so sneak them into your meals once a day on the weeks leading up to your wedding. Other mega antioxidant boosters include blueberries, blackberries, flax seeds (add some to your salad, yogurt or smoothie!), and even dark chocolate. See, good skin is not as out of your reach as you thought!

For the Offbeat Bride: Chic Alternatives to Traditional Bridesmaid Bouquets

Just because it isn’t traditional doesn’t mean it has to be tacky! And yes, this applies to your bridesmaid bouquets and your own wedding flowers, for that matter, brides. From fresh fruit and veggie arrangements to small floral wreaths perfect for any season, here are five stylish bridesmaid bouquet alternatives for the offbeat-but-oh-so chic bride.

1. Small floral wreaths
As an alternative to traditional bridesmaid bouquets, wedding planner Marilisa Schachinger of Martel Events suggests a small floral wreath instead! “The unexpected shape is not confined to winter weddings either; we think it makes for a fun, fresh option in any season. To scale back on costs, you can just use greenery as opposed to floral accents too.”

2. Books
Yes, seriously! Chancey Charm Boston wedding planner Jill Deering recently worked on a wedding where the d&#233cor theme was literate and books. “So of course the bridesmaids carried their favorite books, bound in a beautiful ribbon.” You could also use rolled up sheets of meaningful song lyrics or a favorite book passage about love that inspires you or speaks to your relationship, says Chancey Charm Denver planner Lauren Groeper.

3. Fruits and vegetables
Calling all organic, green brides…you’ll eat this idea right up (we know we did)! Jesseca Carrol of Events by SB had the honor of coordinating a wedding where the bride and groom wanted everything all natural. So of course, that meant the bouquets too. “They featured purple radishes, beets, peppers and multiple lettuces. Our floral designer had a blast creating beauty out of such color rich vegetables.”

4. Flower-filled sparkly clutches
Handbags filled with blooms are a fun fashion statement and perfect for the offbeat bride, notes DIY wedding planner Anastasia Stevenson of How to DIY Wedding. “A florist can create a mossy version or bridesmaids can choose their leather, velvet, satin or sparkly versions. Whatever the bride and her maids think suits the wedding style and usually each bridesmaid has her own unique bag.”

5. Lanterns
Ditch the classic floral bouquets and send your bridesmaids down the aisle carrying pretty lanterns decorated with gorgeous greenery and blooms galore. It’s different without being too out there and you have the option to decide how decked out with flowers you want them to be. In our opinion, they look stunning either way, minimalistic or over the top.
