Broadway sensation Idina Menzel is engaged! The Frozen star is set to wed her boyfriend Aaron Lohr.

The Tony Award-winning actress and singer, who is in New York this week promoting her new album, announced the exciting news on Twitter Friday afternoon. “As if this week couldn’t get any better I have wonderful news… my man and I are engaged! We are so happy. It’s a beautiful time.”

Menzel was first linked to Lohr, who is also a singer and actor, in April 2015 after they appeared together at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Later that year, the pair made the next big relationship leap in the modern era and bought a home together — a $2,675 million house in Encino, California that comes (with sweeping views of the San Fernando Valley, we might add). According to the Los Angeles Times, the Mediterranean-style home features five bedrooms and six bathrooms, a covered patio and swimming pool with a spa.

This will be the first marriage for Lohr, and the second for Menzel. Avid Rent fans were distraught and dismayed to learn of Menzel’s split from her hunky husband of 10 years, Taye Diggs, in December 2013. The couple, who share a 7-year-old son together, officially finalized their divorce a year later in December 2014.

“I’d be lying if I said there weren’t times when I thought, ‘Oh, man, people are going to trip out [if we split],'” Diggs, 45, told Redbook that July. “There weren’t a lot of couples like us in the theater community — and I know there aren’t a lot of performers as talented as she is — and then you have the whole mixed [race] thing. It was easy for people to root for us.”

We couldn’t be happier that the Broadway star has found new love! And we cannot WAIT to see what her bridal look will be… a little Elsa style à la Frozen, perhaps? We can only hope!
