A GPS Proposal
How’s this for dedication? Yasushi Takahashi spent six months hiking 4,451 miles through Japan — all for a totally epic (and probably super tiresome) marriage proposal. He arranged the pitstops of his travels so that the GPS coordinates would spell out “Marry Me” on the map. Imagine if she said no…
High Hopes
These two must have felt on top of the world… literally. Rossel Sabourin went to great heights to propose to his girlfriend, hiking 9,000 feet up a mountain in Banff National Park, Alberta. Awaiting the couple at the peak was champagne on ice and an engagement ring for the bride-to-be.
Triple Vision
Identical triplets Tagiane, Rocheli, and Rafaela Bini of Brazil not only share birthday, but a wedding date as well. The sisters had a joint wedding in March of 2015, marrying their three fiancés in matching wedding dresses, hairstyles, and makeup.

Orange is the New White
It was the best of times and worst of times for Israel Silva who married his bride and got sentenced to prison all in the same day. In February of 2015, District Judge Steven Cranfill officiated the groom’s marriage — and then immediately delivered his sentence for burglary and a laundry list of other crimes. The wedding venue? A courtroom room in Cody, Wyoming where the orange jumpsuit clad groom had to stay 15 feet away from the bride.

What does an adventure-loving bride and groom do after tying the knot in a ski resort? Hit the slopes, of course! Bob and Maria Reiland of Cleveland, Ohio strapped on their snowboards and started shredding with their wedding guests, just minutes after saying “I do.” The best part? The bride was still in her dress!
