Not sure exactly how to register to vote for the 2016 presidential election? You’re not alone. Plenty of young women and men are a little stumped when it comes to knowing where to vote, when to vote, or even who might be on the ballot. And that’s ok! BRIDES, along with Rock the Vote, are here to help. Here’s everything you need to know to register to vote in this election so you can say “I do” vote.

How do I register to vote?

When do I vote?
The general election is on November 8, 2016. Some states allow for early voting. You can also request an absentee ballot in case you’ll be traveling, away at college, or out of your hometown for some other reason.

Where do I vote?
CLICK HERE to find out where you vote on Election Day. Polling places are usually within walking distance of your home (unless you are in a very rural area). A polling place can be in a business, a person’s house, a school, or a community center, to name a few establishments.

Who’s running?
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have been stealing most of the spotlight this election cycle, as the democratic and republican (respectively) presidential nominees, but there are plenty of other folks who will show up on your ballot come November.
