Leave it to Blake Lively to be the most dedicated friend — going from the maternity ward to a wedding in mere days! The Gossip Girl star made for a picture perfect (and Instagram-savvy) wedding guest this weekend, only a few days after leaving the hospital with the birth of her second baby with husband Ryan Reynolds.
Just days after welcoming baby number two, whose name and sex has yet to be released, Lively made for an epic wedding guest at her best friend’s wedding this weekend at New York City’s Tribeca Rooftop. Mrs. Reynolds took to Instagram to share photos from her friend’s happy day and we all collectively sighed with the sweet outpouring of marital congrats Lively had for her BFF.
“Most beautiful bride on the planet. And the best friend I could ask for. @jessicarose617 thank you for being EVERYTHING. I love you,” The Shallows actress shared with her Instagram followers.
In the sweet snap, Lively can be seen planting a kiss on best friend Jessica Snyder. The actress was demure and understated (letting her BFF shine on her big day) in a navy blue dress and heels by Christian Louboutin, while the bride glowed in a sparkling Marchesa gown, accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels.
Another post to Lively’s Instagram showed a detail version of the bride’s look and we couldn’t help but swoon over all that bling — from the bejeweled details of her incredible Marchesa wedding gown, to the breathtaking Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring, Ofira diamond band, and even a hint of bling on the bride’s diamond encrusted manicure. Not to mention the gorgeous cascading bouquet in shades of white and pink.

These two ladies must be long time best friends for the Cafe Society star to attend her wedding just days after leaving the hospital with baby number two! But where was the proud daddy? We like to imagine Ryan Reynolds is home being super dad to his adorable kids while he lets his gorgeous wife have a night out on the town. Now that’s a dedicated husband and dad! Either way we know Lively loves weddings just as much as we do so we couldn’t be happier to see her out and about enjoying her BFF’s big day. The new mom of two must have called it a night early, we totally understand, after a quick search of the couple’s wedding hashtag, there were no signs that the new mom enjoyed the party into the wee hours.
