Every couple hopes that there are no rowdy wedding crashers who stop by on the big day for the open bar and a chance to flirt with the guests. But, what if those wedding crashers were celebrities? Perhaps your favorite musician, actor — or even just someone you follow closely on social media and always dreamed would make a great real-life best friend? A wedding couple could only dream of that happening. Here are four of our favorite times that a celeb crashed a wedding in history.
1. Queen B.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z were on vacation in Italy when they walked into a church and sure enough, there was a wedding going on inside. The bride and groom were shocked beyond belief. Though Beyonce and Jay-z didn’t put on a performance or sing any of their hits, they did take photos with the bride and groom.
2. Taylor Swift
Perhaps there’s no better lead singer for a wedding band than the one and only T-Swift. The country-turned-pop crooner showed up at a New Jersey wedding to sing the song “Blank Space.”

3. Tom Hanks
This past September, Tom Hanks took a break from his jog around Central Park to say hello to a couple taking photos before their wedding ceremony. He posed for photos and selfies with them before continuing his run. For most couples, kickstarting your wedding day with the movie star doesn’t get any cooler than that.

4. Bon Jovi
If you’ve ever wondered if asking a celeb to show up at your wedding is a possibility, you may want to take a page from the bride’s book who launched an online campaign to get Bon Jovi to walk her down the aisle. It actually worked — he did it!
