Talk about a throwback! Anyone remember former bachelor Bob Guiney? He competed on the very first season of ABC’s The Bachelorette, before snagging the coveted titular role in the fourth season of The Bachelor. Well, it looks like the 45-year-old is a bachelor no longer, as Guiney just said “I do” to his sweetheart in a stunning destination wedding. Eat your heart out, Trista Sutter!
Trista may have given her final rose to Ryan all those years ago, but this weekend Guiney finally got his happy ending! Guiney and his now-wife, Jessica Canyon, had gotten engaged over Labor Day weekend — on a super romantic dock no less (see photo below) — with Guiney announcing the news on an episode of the Today show to hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. “I’m actually engaged now,” Guiney casually stated. “WHAT?!” the two hosts screamed in union. Our sentiments exactly!
According to E! News, Guiney and his bride headed to Punta Mita, Mexico, where they said their “I dos” at the Casa Entre Rocas on Friday, November 11.
The blonde beauty and her bridesmaids donned matching floral robes ahead of the ceremony. Then, the ‘maids slipped into long dark purple gowns and walked down the aisle clutching huge single-stem bouquets of proteas. Totally fitting for the tropical “I dos,” no? We also got a sneak peak of the couple’s after-party, where the entire wedding party participated in the viral mannequin challenge. How cool is that?

“We get along great, she lets me be me,” the groom shared with People magazine ahead of the big day. “I know exactly who I am right now, as I would be in front of her with the same terrible jokes and the ‘third time’s a charm’ crap.’ It’s going to be great.”
And from the look of these pics, we’d certainly say it was!
