John Tucker must marry! Jesse Metcalfe and his fiancé, Cara Santana, are getting closer and closer to tying the knot. The next thing on their wedding to-do list? An ultra-glam engagement party, of course! The almost-newlyweds just celebrated their love with a pre-wedding bash and we have all of the deets.
The John Tucker Must Die star nearly killed us with the super stunning engagement ring he gifted his fashion blogger fiancé when he proposed back in August. Metcalfe choose a five and a half carat diamond ring for his bride-to-be with an emerald-cut center stone, which he presented to her aboard a 50-foot sailboat as they floated along the Hudson River in New York City. Cue the sunset and Eric Clapton’s “Pretty Girl” playing in the background. (Yes, really!) Since then, the couple has been busy planning their big day. “We kind of set the date of September 2018,” the actor previously revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “We’re locking down a venue right now.” But the pair took a night off from the all of those big day details to celebrate their engagement party.
According to E! News, on Saturday November 13, the engaged duo headed to the luxe Los Angeles nightclub, Hills Penthouse West Hollywood, where they partied it up with their family and friends. “Such an awesome evening celebrating our engagement!!!” Metcalfe wrote on social media after the festivities. “Thank you so much to all of our family and friends for sharing this moment with us! Love you all!!!”

The pair later took to their respective Instagram pages to both share time-lapse videos of themselves sharing a smooch in a photo booth at the bash. Talk about a too-cute couple! And Santana’s gold glitter dress? Total #goals. We think we just found your new engagement party outfit inspiration!
