A city wedding is beautiful and offers guests a unique celebration experience in an urban area. But, for Houston brides, there are so many options that it may become overwhelming. Consider the wedding you’re envisioning: is it intimate and lowkeyor is it worthy of a theatre production? If you’re thinking you may want to expand your search to outside of Houston to find the perfect fit, these five venues are worth visiting for their rustic, glamorous, and destination-style feel.

The Springs in Katy
Whether you’re planning a rustic or more elegant wedding, The Springs in Katy offers two venues to fulfill all your big-day needs, regardless of your style. The quaint Stonecreek Hall will make any Texas bride happy with grand architectural elements, including white limestone and solid wood floors — while Tuscany Hall will make guests feel as if they’re in the Italian countryside. At Agave Estates, you and your guests will feel like you’re in ‘Old Mexico’ — complete with luxe architectural elements and stunning landscapes. Choose from worldly menus from Cordua Catering (known for its Amazon Grill and Churrascos) or better yet, stick to your Texas roots with BBQ from Red River Catering.
