The Countess’ wedding is still on! Luan de Lesseps is still getting married to Tom D’agostino even after a tumultuous season finale of RHONY — but with some specifications: a prenup!
Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City star has gone through the very public ringer when it comes to her relationship with her new fiancé, who was recently outed for cheating on her at the Regency Hotel in a recent episode of Bravo’s RHONY. Her former gal pal, Bethenny Frankel, had dropped the news on her while on a trip to Miami (and we now know that she’s NOT on the guest list…oops). The wedding is still on, however, and the Countess seems to be happier than ever.
“I’m so in love,” she shared with People. “Knowing that we can get through this has made our relationship even stronger. If you can’t forgive those you love, who can you forgive?” Very cool of you, Countess. But their holy matrimony will come with some strings attached, as both partners are signing a prenup. “Oh yeah well we both have assets,” she shared. “He’s got big business assets and so do I.”
D’Agostino, and de Lesseps are getting married on New Year’s Eve of this year in Palm Beach, Florida — with about 250 friends and family in attendance. Among the guests are fellow castmates Dorinda Medley and Jules Wainstein — but it looks as if Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer have joined the “not invited” list with Skinny Girl mogul Frankel.
While the reality star was previously married (to Count Alexandre de Lesseps from 1993 to 2009), this will be her first wedding celebration in which she’ll wear a wedding dress — something which totally thrills her. “I’m most excited to celebrate, to celebrate our life together,” she shared with the magazine. “I’m most excited to have all our friends together. And I’m excited to walk down the aisle, I’ve never done it, I eloped. So I never have been married in a traditional way so I’m excited to be a bride. That’s why I’m wearing a veil.” Since she didn’t get to do it the first time, she’s now wearing not one, not two, but THREE wedding dresses — talk about doing it right the second time.

Back in February, D’agostino proposed with an 8-carat canary-yellow diamond engagement ring. “Thomas was planning on a Valentine’s Day proposal during their upcoming vacation in Vail, but couldn’t wait and presented an eight-carat canary yellow diamond ring before they got there,” a source shared with People. “LuAnn is over the moon in love with Thomas and considers him her soulmate and is so happy and grateful to have found love a second time.” The two then celebrated blissfully on a ski vacation in Colorado.
Since then, the mother of two has been twirling about in newly-engaged happiness, getting ready for her big day. For the couple’s sake, hopefully this is the last of the rumblings of turmoil between the two, and now we can just look forward to Insta-stalking their wedding!
