It’s not hard to see why the bride and groom selected this venue for their big day: The stunning backdrop was worth every penny, and they certainly got their money’s worth during a first look portrait session and open-air ceremony. Manicured gardens, lush trees, and an abundance of moss made for an unforgettable setting. The couple made the outdoor ceremony all the more romantic with a live pianist and guitarist and by surrounding the space with plenty of glowing candlelight.
They turned up the charm and party vibe for their reception. Feathered umbrellas gave a nod to the city’s traditional first line and streamers in traditional Mardi Gras colors made for the perfect locally inspired exit. All in all, it’s safe to say this bride and groom totally captured the fun-filled vibe of the city throughout their big day.
