Every bridesmaid tries to look chic, sophisticated, and effortless on their friend’s wedding day (without upstaging the bride, of course), but it can be a hard style to pull off. Dianna Agron nailed the woke-up-like-this look as a bridesmaid at her friend’s wedding this weekend, and it is giving us some serious style-envy. (Seriously, you have to see the pictures!)
A few celebrity weddings went down over the weekend, but this wedding is the only one where we were paying more attention to a bridesmaid than to the bride. Famous chef and food stylist (and friend to the former Glee star) Megan Mitchell walked down the aisle wearing a gorgeous white dress with flower detailing, a champaign ribbon belt, and a pretty fierce cat eye to go along with it, but we absolutely could not take our eyes off of Agron’s flawless bridesmaid look.
Agron looked like the human embodiment of summer style with her $400 Anne Dress from Reformation. She wore the dress in the color flesh, a combination of pink, gold, and a bit of taupe, which was a perfect complement to her skin tone. The dress was flowing and simple, with a small tie in the front to synch the waist and a small, ruffled flower on the back. She wore her hair down in loose, beachy curls with flower pinned in her hair, and her subtle smokey eye and pink lip paired perfectly her dress, creating a look that gave a nod to the all nude everything look that has been so popular with celebrities recently. Agron confirmed her own engagement in February of this year to Mumford & Sons banjoist Winston Marshall. They officially announced that they were dating in July of last year after seen strolling the streets of Paris hand-in-hand, and are rumored to have gotten engaged during the winter holidays that same year. The world first saw Agron’s stunning engagement ring, a huge round diamond set in a yellow-gold band, when she sat front row for Erdem’s London Fashion Week runway show in February.
The pair has been silent on wedding details (we know virtually nothing yet), but after seeing how she styled herself for Mitchell’s wedding this weekend, we can’t wait to see what her bridal style will be!
