Brangelina, who? Although the world may be clamoring to catch a glimpse of a smug smile from Jennifer Aniston after the breakup of Angelina Jolie and Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt, the actress has been been hashtag over it for a decade now and there’s no better proof than her current hubby, Justin Theroux. A little over two months after celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Theroux and Aniston are seemingly still cruising along the honeymoon phase, looking totally adorbs on the red carpet and on romantic dinner dates — including a recent double date with fellow power couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski! And luckily for us, Theroux just shared his secret to martial success with his beautiful bride.

After five years together (the couple first began dating in 2011) and one year of marriage, Theroux seems to have a pretty good idea of what makes his marriage to Aniston work. There’s no denying that these two are totally compatible. (We mean, have you seen their too-cute chemistry in there red carpet pics?) But what’s the real recipe for their sweet success? Well, during his press junket for his upcoming flick The Girl on the Train, Theroux revealed their secret…

“We appreciate each other’s sense of humor, we respect one another and we get along,” the actor shared with Entertainment Tonight. “I know it sounds simple but it’s true!” We couldn’t possibly agree more with you, Theroux! So simple. But so, so true.

And we’re sure that those aforementioned date nights don’t hurt either! The couple recently cozied up during an at-home double date night, along with John Krasinski and Theroux’s The Girl on the Train co-star Emily Blunt. The two power duos reportedly viewed the presidential debate together on Monday night, according to Entertainment Tonight, because there’s nothing sexier than registered voters.

Maybe Brangelina should’ve taken a page out of Theroux’s playbook? #SorryNotSorry. Aniston and Theroux have been keeping a rather low profile since the announcement of Pitt and Jolie’s split. As any pop culture aficionado could tell you, Aniston was married to Pitt for five years before they divorced in 2005, with Pitt going public with his relationship with Jolie soon after. And with the world waiting with bated breath for a comment on the drama, Theroux finally spoke out on Jolie and Pitt’s divorce during the The Girl on the Train press tour.

“As a child of divorce, all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children and that’s all you can really say,” the actor told Business Insider. “It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time. That’s horrible.”

He also shut down the media’s “nonsense” attempts at throwing Aniston into Brangelina’s marital problems. “There’s an endless appetite for trash, apparently,” he said.

She’s just too busy enjoying those date nights with her new hubby, thank you very much.
