A Drone Accidentally Captured These Two Newlyweds and The Photo is AH-MAZE-ING

Accidental Drone Wedding Photo

They found one another, but now the Internet is on the hunt to find them! When filmmaker Brandon Li sent his drone up over Hong Kong to capture some sunset shots, he ended up shooting something far more romantic — a bride and groom lying on a rooftop, basking in their newlywed bliss. The craziest part of about this just-too-perfect pic? The bride and groom are complete strangers to Li — and now he’s on the hunt to find them!

The photo that would thrill any couple was a complete (albeit lucky) accident for Li, who told BBC, “I was with a friend trying to get a good shot of the sunset but the drone battery was running low so we just pointed it down as it returned home, and I thought we’d just keep the camera rolling.”

“I didn’t notice anything interesting until I went through the footage later and saw this grassy rooftop,” said Li — and the newlyweds smack dab in the center of it! Li posted the photo to Facebook in the hopes that someone there knows the couple. But so far, no such luck.

But we’re holding out hope that these two lucky loves are found. After all, the photo is so perfect in fact, that some are claiming that the snapshot has to be orchestrated, pre-planned pic.”So many people think that I staged the photo,” said Li. “I’m a filmmaker not a wedding photographer so I don’t really have an incentive. It’s really just a lucky catch.”

But even Li doesn’t discover who the newlyweds are, he’s still pleased with the swoon-worthy shot. “You usually see these really cold pictures of Hong Kong looking really crowded and grey and here’s this moment where two people are doing something very good and joyous,” he explained. “It’s like making your own oasis of joy in the city.”
