Engagement ring? Check. Moving in together? Check. Engagement photos? Check — and they’re gorgeous enough to inspire your own! Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins of The Bachelor fame are marking items off of their pre-wedding checklist left and right, and their latest nuptial to-do — a picture-perfect engagement photo shoot — is sending us into a tizzy. Seriously! If there was a rose ceremony of engagement photos, we’d give a bouquet of the blooms to these sweet snapshots (see below).
If you’ve forgotten just how gosh darn adorable these two are, you about to be reminded thanks to the couple’s newly-released engagement photos. After Bushnell won Higgins’ season of the The Bachelor — and the man’s heart! — earlier this year, the pair has slowly but surely been moving towards the altar. Since that final rose ceremony, Higgins and Bushnell have moved in together, are strengthening their relationship through couples’ counseling, scored their own reality show spinoff, and are currently planning for a (hopefully televised!) 2017 wedding. And now the pair is offering up some serious engagement photo inspiration with their recent photo shoot.
Donning a bridal white mini-dress and a pristine white shirt paired with jeans, Bushnell and Higgins headed to the great outdoors with photographer Valorie Darling in tow to snap their pre-wedding pics.
“This was exciting because it was the first tangible thing we got to do in terms of wedding planning and Lauren looked really good in white,” Higgins shared with People. That she does, Higgins! Bushnell later pulled off a costume change mid-shoot, changing into a long floral dress for a stroll in the sunshine with her sweetheart. That dress! These photos!
And if these lovey-dovey pics weren’t enough to get you excited to watch these two tie the knot, Bushnell and Higgins also teased some big day details. “I’m so excited to have all our loved ones with us as we celebrate our life together — that and having a huge party,” Bushnell divulged.

“A huge party?” questioned the groom-to-be. “A medium-sized party,” Bushnell clarified. “I just can’t wait to have everyone we love together.”
“I like the idea of a winter wedding,” the bride continued. “Something really romantic and intimate, with lots of candles.” And Higgins’ vision for the big day sounds equally as romantic. “I just want to look over at Lauren and know that she is completely filled with joy in that moment. And I want it to be one heck of a party. Love is what life is all about!”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
