Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been Hollywood’s will they/won’t they couple for a few years now, but according to recent reports they could finally be getting married as early as next month. Is a summer Miliam wedding in the cards for us?
Sources report to Radar Online that even though the young couple just reconciled a few months ago, they are looking to speed up their engagement and already have a date booked for their wedding.
“As of right now, Miley and Liam are shooting for next month,” the source told Radar. “The date has been set, but no one knows what it is except for the two of them and their parents.”
So, what do we know about their potentially speedy nuptials? Though the celebrity couple is notorious for keeping their romance on the D.L., secret details about their wedding have been slipping out here and there for the past two months.
Sources say that they are planning not one, but two ceremonies, with one being held on a beach in L.A. and the other taking place in Liam’s beloved Australia. Miley’ dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, even hinted to the Today Show that he may be officiating the weddings, though there is no word yet on whether or not he will also double as the wedding singer. (Our guess is probably not, no matter how many people request “Achy Breaky Heart.”)
While her wedding sounds like it will be a day to remember, we can’t stop wondering who, or more likely what, Miley will be wearing down the aisle. She has worn some pretty crazy outfits over the past few years on the red carpet, while performing, and even just running errands around town, so her wedding style will undoubtedly be unique and outrageous. Will the dress be white or the loudest shade of pink there is? Will there be weird cats all over it or will it just be completely see-through? These are the important questions!
This would be the second attempt at marriage for Miley and Liam, as they were engaged in 2013 and broke up later that year. They were seen back together, engagement ring in tow, earlier this year.
No one is quite sure why the couple has decided to run, not walk, down the aisle, but it’s hard to imagine someone not wanting to rush into marriage when their fiancé is an amazingly hunky Australian movie star. We feel you, Miley.
