7 Undeniable, No-Doubt-About-It Signs He Loves You, Girl

It can be hard to know if the guy you’re with loves you or loves you not. From my own experience, a few things make it difficult to know if he loves you.

Like most women, you will meet, date and be in relationships with different types of men. And during the course of your love life, you’ll experience one or all of these situations.

Guys you’ve known for a short time will tell you they love you without really knowing who you are. If this happens, don’t believe them. They most likely have an ulterior motive, like trying to have sex with you, and are using those three big words to sway you into bed.

Guys say they love you but don’t treat you as if they do because they don’t know how to love. They love themselves more than they love you or aren’t capable of love. You will know you’re with this kind of guy because you will doubt and question his love for you.

Guys who don’t say those three words and don’t treat you well. These guys don’t love you. You should leave this kind of person to be available for a somene who will treat you well.

Guys who don’t say those three words, yet treat you with love. These guys may actually love you. They may not wear their heart on their sleeves and are more comfortable expressing their love through actions instead of words.

Guys who say they love you and treat you with love. There is no doubt that they love you. If you date or are in a relationship with this guy, he’s a keeper.

So how can you know if the guy you’re with truly loves you? If your guy exhibits these seven signs, he most likely loves you.

1. He treats you well and with respect.
A guy who loves you is considerate of your feelings, needs and desires. He makes them as important as his desires and needs. He is concerned with your well-being and will do things to make your life better, sometimes going out of his way to do so. Not only does he treat you well, he is also good to your family and friends.

2. He’s generous with his time.
He doesn’t let too much time go by without seeing you. When he is available, he wants to be with you and chooses to spend his time with you. If you’re in a long-distance relationship, he is spending time with you whenever your schedules allow. And you are together during major holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

3. He makes you a priority.
You are at the forefront of his mind and he maintains contact in between the times you see each other. He considers you when making decisions and is considerate about doing things you want to do. When speaking, he uses “we” instead of “I” and includes you in his future plans.

4. He cares for you.
A guy who loves you is genuinely happy for you when good things happen to you. He is compassionate when you’re going through challenges. This guy is there for you in the good and not-so-good times. He thinks about you and surprises you with tokens of affection outside of your birthday and holidays. He will also challenge you by calling you out on stuff to help you become a better person.

5. He wants people to know about you.
He is affectionate with you in public by holding your hand, putting his arm around you and/or hugging you. He is proud to be with you and has introduced you to his family and friends. He brings you to family functions and get-togethers with friends, and takes you to company events.

6. He treats your relationship with integrity.
He is trustworthy and loyal to you and your relationship. He is upfront with you about his past girlfriends and skeletons in his closet. He does what he says and will let you know if he’s not able to. When issues come up, he is willing to work through them. Although he isn’t perfect, he tries to be a better man.

7. He wants the absolute best for you.
A guy who loves you encourages you to do things you love, even if it means doing these things without him. He wants you to spend time with family and friends. He encourages you to find and live your passions, knowing that if you are happy and engaged with life, you’ll be happy and engaged in your relationship with him.

Don’t believe a man’s “I love you” if his behaviors and actions aren’t backing up his words. You’ll know if you’re in this situation because you will feel uncertain and question his love for you. Pay attention to this feeling because your intuition is telling you something isn’t right.

Place less weight on his words and more weight on his behaviors and actions. A man’s behaviors and actions are more revealing and show if he loves you or not. It’s easier for a man to say “I love you” because that’s what you want to hear. When a man loves you, you won’t need to hear the words because you will just know.

Olympics 2016: 8 Olympic Couples Who Won the Gold in Cuteness

Olympic Couples

As the opening ceremonies for the 2016 Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil take place tonight, the world will be watching and waiting to see which of these star athletes will take home the gold. But these eight Olympians have already snagged the gold — when it comes to love, that is! After sprinting down the track, sticking their landings, and throwing the javelin, these Olympic athletes walked down the aisle, tied the knot, and threw the bouquet — and we cheered just as loudly, of course!

In honor of the start of the Rio Summer Olympics 2016, we’re throwing it back to the perfect-10 romances of the top athletes of Olympics past. From Shawn Johnson’s spring wedding to Michael Phelp’s current engagement and adorable baby with his bride-to-be, here are eight past Olympians who added to their gold collection in the form of wedding and engagement rings. (That’s just as cool as a medal, right?)

Sasha Cohen and Tom May

Sasha Cohen
As an award-winning figure skater in the 2006 Olympic games, Sasha Cohen is no stranger to ice, but it’s her newest piece of ice that has caught our eye! After competing in the Olympics, the skater returned to academics and met hedge fund manager Tom May at a Harvard Business School party in 2014. A year later, Cohen announced their to-be-wed status in an #EngagementRingSelfie on Instagram, where she showed off her new oval-cut bling and her hubby-to-be. “Engaged to the most incredible man… I’ve never been so happy,” she captioned the photo.

Misty May
Anyone else remember being jealous of Misty May’s killer abs back in the early oughts? The beach volleyball player is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, competing in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 games. Less than three months after winning her first gold medal, May tied the knot with professional baseball player Matt Treanor. Fun fact: Her Olympics teammate Kerri Walsh stood by her side as a bridesmaid on the big day!

Shawn Johnson
Eight years after snagging the gold medal in 2008 for her balance beam performance, this gymnast snagged the love of her life: NFL player Andrew East. They wed in April 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee with Johnson exchanging her Olympics leotard for a strapless mermaid wedding dress. “I’m not a really girly-girl and I’ll have on this beautiful dress and it’s out of my comfort zone,” Johnson shared with People magazine ahead of the big day. She had no reason to be nervous — that dress scored a perfect 10 from us!

Gretchen Bleiler and Chris Hotell

Gretchen Bleiler
Three years after shredding snow in the 2006 Torino Olympics and winning the silver medal, snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler exchanged the snow for some serious sun. In 2009, she wed her sweetheart, Chris Hotell in Costa Rica. Always the athlete, the bride even rode into her ceremony on horseback — a total surprise to her groom!

Michael Phelps
Those 22 medals Phelps won throughout his Olympic career can’t compete with the greatest prize of all — his adorable family! Sure, that sounds more than a little cheesy, but have you seen them?! In February of last year, the most decorated Olympian in history announced his engagement to his girlfriend, former Miss California Nicole Johnson. And in May 2016, Phelps and Johnson welcomed their first child — a son they named Boomer Robert Phelps. “One of the coolest things about being a father going into Rio is that our firstborn has the chance to see my last race ever,” the champion swimming told Us Weekly. “I think that’s something that’ll be really special.”

Nastia Liukin

Nastia Liukin
This Olympian gymnast is a gold medalist and has a HUGE diamond engagement ring to show off, but she somehow still didn’t win that coveted disco ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars. Can you say robbed? Liukin took home the gold in 2008, competed on DWTS in 2015, and then started her journey to becoming a Mrs. later that same year. Her sweetheart, Matt Lombardi, proposed with a cushion-cut engagement ring with a double-pavé halo, which is totally just as impressive as Liukin’s performance on the balance beam.

Charlie White and Tanith Belbin
Not one, but two Olympic ice dancers in the fam? Charlie White and Tanith Belbin have got to be the coolest couple on the block! (Get it? Cool?) White took home the gold medal during the 2014 Olympics, while his now-wife snagged the silver in 2006. They tied the knot in April of last year in Ann Arbor, Michigan — just a few miles from the Detroit ice rink where the couple met over 15 years before! Amazing, right? “She was the most beautiful girl at the rink,” White previously reminisced with People magazine.

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black

Tom Daley
The British Olympic diver dove head first into love with his engagement to American screenwriter Dustin Lance Black. The couple went the traditional route, announcing their to-be-wed status in the Times of London newspaper in October of last year. “The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence,” the announcement read — and the upcoming wedding plans should be coming soon! “They are going to wait until after the [2016] Olympic Games in Rio before they decide on the date of the wedding and where they want to marry,” Daley’s mother told the Plymouth Herald. We can’t wait!

BRIDES' 30 Day Wedding Shape-Up Challenge: Day 5, Fiber Up!

30 Day Wedding Workout Day 5

This is it… The final countdown to your big day. And along with settling those last few details — figuring out where to seat your eccentric Uncle Carl, firming up the flowers, deciding on your first dance song — you’re likely also making one last push to make sure the body that will be wearing that gorgeous white gown looks as good as it possibly can. You and nearly every other woman with an engagement ring on her finger. In fact, research shows that an overwhelming 91 percent of brides-to-be are anxious about their weight. But from here on out, you won’t have to be!

Whether you want to drop those last few pounds or look more toned — or both — we’ve got a month’s worth of daily tips (none of which require starving yourself or working out nonstop!) that will help you feel stunning and confident when you walk down that aisle. You know where to send the thank-you card. Let’s get started!

Day 5: Fiber Up!

Fiber isn’t exactly the sexiest topic in the world, but it can do your body a world of good. “It keeps you full and satisfied, helps naturally remove toxins from your body and expedites weight loss,” says Rachel Beller, R.D., of Beller Nutritional Institute in Beverly Hills and author of Power Souping.

A recent study in the Annals of Internal Medicine found that participants who were instructed to get at least 30 grams of fiber a day — but that was the only dietary change they made — lost nearly as much as a group of people who were put on a much more complex diet that required limiting calories, fat, sugar, and salt and upping fruit, veggie and whole grain consumption. In addition to the fullness factor, fiber actually prevents your body from absorbing some of the calories in the foods you eat. In one study, people who ate 35 grams of fiber a day shaved 245 calories from their daily diets.

Beller recommends aiming to get 30 to 35 grams of fiber a day. (The average American gets about half the recommended amount of fiber each day, so odds are you need to up your fiber game, too.) And try to have 8 to 10 grams of it at breakfast. “It’s an easy meal to get it in because there are so many high fiber options — like cereals, whole wheat bread and oatmeal,” says Beller. “And if you fall a little short at another meal, you’ll be covered.”

One word of caution: If your diet is currently fiber poor, add it in slowly. If you jump right to 35 grams a day you might feel gassy and bloated. So, for example, rather than going for a big bowl of All Bran tomorrow morning, she suggests mixing it half and half with whatever cereal you eat now. Try the same strategy at other meals and gradually up your fiber grams until you hit that magic 30 to 35 range.

Here’s a quick list of some high-fiber foods, measured in grams per cup:

  • Black beans, canned — 17
  • Lentils, cooked — 16
  • White beans, canned (chickpeas, cannellini, etc.) — 13
  • Peanuts — 12
  • Edamame, shelled — 8
  • Green peas — 8
  • Raspberries and blackberries — 8
  • Apples — 4
  • Carrots — 4
  • Potato, with skin — 4
  • Corn — 3
  • Orange — 3
  • roccoli — 2
  • Cauliflower — 2

Cara Delevingne, Shay Mitchell, and Ashley Benson Serve Up Seriously Glam Bridal Beauty Inspiration

Cara Delevingne Shay Mitchell and Ashley Benson

Go for the glam with three dramatic looks straight from the red carpet.

Cara Delevingne at the Suicide Squad European premiere: Want to add a little edge to a boho affair, or play up your personal glam rock style? Cara Delevingne offers the perfect combination of hard and soft. Start with a matte finish foundation, buffing everything into a smooth, soft canvas. Warm up your cheekbones with a matte bronzer in the contours of your face and then focus on the eyes. Shape and define your brows so they are full and more prominent than your everyday look, and then tightline your upper and lower lids. Smudge the liner under the lower lashes in the outer corners. Use a slate gray eyeshadow from the upper lashes to the crease of your lid, and smudge it under the lower lashes. Use a dark brown shadow in the crease, and coat the lashes with mascara. A matte nude lipstick, and you’re done.

Shay Mitchell at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards: Looking for an ultra-glam look that ignores convention? We’ve got you covered! To recreate Shay Mitchell’s look, prep the skin with a luminous finish primer and then use your favorite full-coverage foundation. Do a traditional contour and highlight, and don’t defuse the bronzer too much, to keep that sharp, glam effect. For the eyes, tightline with a jet black pencil and here’s a trick: To create the smokey red eye, use a blush palette! Use a tool to make sure your shadow has the ultra sharp, defined cat eye shape, and tap a copper glitter over the top of the color from lashes to crease and below the lower lashes. Don’t forget a strip of thick faux lashes or the brows! Define the brows with a pencil first, to get the shape you want and then fill them in with a gel formula. Nude liner and lipstick completes the look.

Ashley Benson at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards: If you’re a bride who likes to experiment with your beauty looks, this one will definitely give your wedding photos an exciting editorial edge. To get Ashley Benson’s awards show look, use a BB Cream or lightweight foundation to even out your complexion followed by a light wash of pink blush on the cheekbones and heavy highlighter on all the highpoints of the face. Brush your eyebrows up and out and fill them in, making sure you let the individual hairs show for a natural look. Line the lips and fill them in with a semi-matte light pink. Onto the show-stopper! Line the eyes with a gray pencil, taking the line out past the outer corners of the lower lashes and blurring the lower line to give it a ‘second day’ look. Then smudge a plum/gray eyeshadow under your lower lashes. Finally, place a splotch of gold shadow under the lower lashes in the middle of each eye, and use a coat or two of mascara on the upper lashes.

The Sneakiest Things Couples Have Done on Their Wedding Registries

    Unique Wedding Registry Item Ideas

    Photo: Getty Images

When it comes to the wedding registry, most couple select everything from the patterns on their fine china to the thread count of their sheets — if you’re opting for a sexy registry, that is — together. But a new survey shows that more than a few brides and grooms have added or removed items to their wedding registries on the DL, without their partners being any the wiser.

Moen, a designer of bathroom and kitchen accessories, conducted a survey among 2,026 adults ages 18 and older, asking them for the wackiest things that have happened with their registries, including those changes they’ve made without their partner’s prior approval. As it turns out, 27 percent of the pollsters copped to adding or removing an item from their registries without telling their significant others. That number rises to 34 percent when you consider only the youngest respondents, ages 18 to 34, and drops to just 12 percent for those 45 and older.

So what changes are these brides and grooms making on the sly? “Housewares were a popular behind-the-back addition,” Moen reports. In fact, one bride confessed to Moen that she added a china set she adored but that she knew her soon-to-be-spouse despised when he wasn’t looking. Another bride had a real problem that her groom had used their registry to snag a gaming system, so she deleted it and added various household decor. One bride simply told Moen that she got rid of “the tacky stuff he picked out,” while another admitted she didn’t trust her groom’s gut, so she took off “some impractical glasses he chose and added some I thought were better.”

See More: The Best Wedding Registry Rewards and Perks

Grooms were guilty of making changes, too, however. “From the male perspective, sporting goods and electronics were prevalent additions,” Moen reports. One soon-to-be groom sneaked onto his registry without his future wife’s knowledge and added a mini basketball hoop, while another went on and added a gaming console behind his fiancée’s back, according to Moen. And a third groom added “a bunch of Blu-ray movies to our registry without permission from my bride,” he told Moen.

Of course, odd things worked their way into couples’ homes without the couple adding the items to their registries on the DL. According to Moen, 34 percent of couple returned at least six gifts. And when you read about the wacky gifts they received, you’ll soon see why.

Brides told Moen they’d received the following odd items as gifts: A casserole dish shaped like a duck, a chia pet, an IOU, ball and chain underwear, and a machete. Yes, you read that right.

“But luckily, it’s not all bad,” Moen reports. “Couples received plenty of great gifts, too. Many folks stated their spouse was the best present they received, while others raved about generous monetary gifts, fantastic cookware and even a cruise to the Bahamas.”

3 Reasons to Choose a Honeymoon in Germany

    German Honeymoon Ideas

    Photo: Getty Images

When it comes to Europe’s great honeymoon destinations, places like France, Spain, Italy, and Greece might be the first that spring to mind. But Germany, with its romantic castles, quaint small towns, beautiful vineyards, and dynamic cities is an option that shouldn’t be overlooked. Here are three great reasons to honeymoon in Germany.

    Germany Honeymoon Town

    Photo: Getty Images

    Beautiful historic cities and towns
Hamburg, Stuttgart, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Cologne… You know the names of Germany’s biggest cities from the history books but each one is still worth visiting today and has its own distinctive culture, and personality. Drink in the traditional Bavarian charm of Munich, cruise the canals of Hamburg or trace the early history of the Beatles in the city’s St. Pauli district (where the band lived and played in the early 60s).

Visit the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart to see Germany’s contribution to the automative industry, marvel at the grand Cologne cathedral, and explore the enigma that is Berlin — a spirited city where history surrounds modern life, from the decommissioned airport that’s now a public park to the section of the Berlin wall that’s now an open-air art gallery.

Add in charming small towns like Baiersbronn in the Black Forest, Rudesheim along the Rhine, and gorgeous Heidelberg with its castle ruins, and you have an impossibly long list of places to see and explore.

    Neuschwanstein Castle Germany

    Photo: Getty Images

    Romantic roads and rivers
One of the most popular driving routes in Germany is the Romantic Road, an aptly named route for a honeymoon road trip. The road runs for 350 kilometers (220 miles) between Würzburg and Füssen in southern Germany, linking some of the country’s most beautiful castles and picturesque towns, such as quintessential Bavarian town, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, and Germany’s most photographed castle, the iconic mountain-top Neuschwanstein castle, the inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty‘s castle.

If you’d rather not drive, hop aboard a river cruise along the beautiful Rhine or Moselle rivers, which bypass dozens of castles and glide past miles of vineyards along the river banks. With stops in places like Heidelberg, Cologne, and Mainz, river cruises offer a great combo of big cities and small towns, culture and outdoors, with a dash of luxury on board the ship.

    German Honeymoon Food

    Photo: Getty Images

    Delicious food and wine
German food may not get as much acclaim as its French or Italian counterparts, but German cuisine is hearty, delicious, and worthy of room on any traveler’s plate.

Indulge in pretzels and beer in Bavaria, check out Michelin-starred restaurants in the Black Forest (which boasts one of the highest concentrations of Michelin stars, per capita, in the world), try currywurst or Turkish food in Berlin (home to the highest number of Turkish people outside of Turkey), drink apfelwein (applewine) with strudel in Frankfurt, sip wine from one of Germany’s 13 wine regions, or try a beer from one of the country’s 1,300 breweries.

Germany is a delight for foodies and if you want to eat well on your honeymoon, the country offers delicious opportunities at every turn.

Expert Tips for Growing Out Your Hair Before Your Wedding

If it’s been said once, it’s been said a thousand times: “I’m growing out my hair for the wedding.” Whether you’re after an elaborate updo, or jonesing for some long, boho waves, long hair is often the key to the perfect bridal hairstyle. So what’s a girl to do? Does brushing your hair every night à la Marcia Brady really help? What about biotin supplements? We tapped Shawn Warner, Color Director for Vis a Vis Salon in Atlanta, to get the rundown on the real ways to get your hair to grow fast. “On average, everyone’s hair grows about a half an inch per month,” he shares. Here are his tips for maximizing that stat.

    Take Supplements
A biotin or hair, skin, and nail supplement is a must, but it’s also important to take it along with a multi-vitamin, says Warner. “It’s about boosting your vitamin load, and you need to give yourself two to three months to let it get into the body and really see the results.” He also says you’ll see the greatest results if the supplements are taken with your evening meal (so your body can process them while you sleep).

    Deep Condition
Once a week, take your favorite hair mask or even coconut oil and apply it to your hair while it’s dry, so it will soak it up like a sponge. Then, wrap your head in a warm towel (you can also add a plastic shower cap or bag over the towel) to insulate the heat and let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Then hop in the shower and shampoo and condition it out.

    Brush Your Hair
“The best conditioner is made by your own body,” says Warner. “So while it may be an old wives’ tale, it makes great sense!” And brushing your hair does more than move that natural oil down into your hair to nourish it and make it shiny: It also stimulates the scalp and helps slough off dry skin, which can hinder hair growth.

    Shampoo Less
Shampooing your hair less will help your hair become healthier over time, and healthier hair equals longer hair! If you think your hair is too oily to wash less, start by skipping one day; your scalp will start to balance itself out over time and stop producing so much sebum, so you can then start skipping even more days between shampooing. If you absolutely must wash, Warner suggests getting in the shower and just wetting and rinsing your hair. Then condition it from mid shaft to the ends, but stay off the scalp.

    Sleep Smart
Silk pillowcases pamper your hair and help avoid breakage, so ditch your cotton case for the silk variety, and also, don’t sleep in a ponytail. “If you feel like you have to pull your hair back at night, a loose braid is the only thing that won’t cause breakage overnight, and be careful how tight the tie is,” warns Warner.

    Eat Smart
You are what you eat, and that means that everything you take internally is going to come out in your hair, skin and nails. So drink more water (even more!), and eat lots of leafy green vegetables.

Ultimately, Warner says there is no one miracle for growing out your hair, but the key is to both plan ahead and baby your hair at every turn. “Even watch how much you are heat styling it,” he says. “Maybe air dry it more often leading up to the wedding.” Because pampered hair doesn’t break as much, and less breakage equals more length.

Kym Johnson Reveals Why She Waited to Get Married

    kym johnson red carpet

    Photo: Getty Images

We can all tell by looking at Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec’s wedding photos from their Sunday nuptials that these two are a couple built to last, but Johnson revealed that it took her a while to find “the one.” She even admitted that she wasn’t quite sure if she would ever get married.

The new Mrs. Herjavec, who turns 40 today, told People that she imagined herself getting married in her 30’s after getting engaged in her 20’s and calling it off because it didn’t feel right. Though Dancing With the Stars is what skyrocketed her to fame, she admits that it did but a damper on her love life.

“I was nonstop working,” Johnson told People. “It was difficult to be in a relationship. I thought marriage just wasn’t for me.”

“I think there’s a stigma,” Johnson continued. “People look at you if you’re not married and they think, poor you, but that wasn’t the case. I was really happy with my life. Of course I wanted to share my life with someone but I wasn’t ready to settle and be with someone just for the sake of being with someone.”

She may have had a rocky love life in the past, but Johnson has no doubt that her romance with Herjavec is “the real thing.”
