Hearts all over the world broke for Céline Dion when she lost her beloved Husband, René Angélil. The new song she just released in his honor is going to break hearts all over again.

Dion announced back in July that she was working on a new album, and that one of the songs would be a tribute to her late husband so fans should “get ready” to feel all sorts of emotions after hearing it. And, boy, was she right.

The song, which is titled “Recovering” and was written by Pink, features nothing but Dion’s vocals and a piano accompaniment. The lyrics are sad and soulful, and you can hear the emotion and heartbreak in Dion’s voice as she sings. It is nearly impossible not to cry when you hear it. (You can listen to the song below.)

“I am recovering / The hope that I lost / The part of my soul / That paid the cost,” she starts the song. “Little by little / Day by day / One step at a time / Shake off the devil / Take back my peace of mind.”

The song continues with Dion admitting that she is an “anxiety addict“, “broken perfectionist”, and “constant regretter,” as she takes you though her emotional journey of trying to use music to heal.

Though the entire song is a powerful, emotional tribute to Angélil, the last lines of the song are the most gut wrenching of all.

“Tell him I love him,” she sings. “Take back my peace of mind.”

The sad, honest vocals from Dion combined with Pink’s lyrics, make this song another iconic piece of music that fans of Dion will always remember. Dion credits “Recovering” for helping her to move forward with her life, and had to opportunity to thank Pink for the song when they met at the Billboard Music Awards in May, where Dion received the Icon award, according to People.

“When I saw her, I said, ‘For you to take the time to really write a song, to give me a tool, a piece of luggage to help me, to move forward to walk, to keep going…’ ” Dion said. “She is phenomenal. I love her for her talent, for her strength, for her focus, for the person she is.”

Dion and Angélil met when Dion was 12 and Angélil was her manager, but their relationship didn’t turn romantic until Dion turned 19 in 1987. They got engaged in 1991 and were married 1994 in Montreal. Together they have three children and stayed happily married for 21 years until Angélil’s death in January 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
