After not saying a single peep about his “I dos” for months, Michael Phelps is finally talking. The Olympic champion just opened up his super secret summer wedding to Nicole Johnsonand revealed he and his new wife already have their minds on baby number two! This is MAJOR, y’all. So let’s dive right in, shall we? (Get it? Dive? Swimming? We’ll show ourselves out…)

The discovery that these two tied the knot before the groom even left to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympics got our hearts racing just as fast as they did back when we watched Phelps fly through that swimming pool. On June 13, Phelps and Johnson wed in Paradise Valley, Arizona in an intimate ceremony officiated by the groom’s agent, Peter Carlisle. In the following months since, the couple kept up the rouse that they were still just engaged, surprising us with their newlywed reveal just this week. Sneaky, sneaky, you two…

“I’ve been married for a while,” Phelps finally admitted to the world on Thursday during a Facebook Live video. “A couple months,” he shared. “I had to keep it a secret from y’all. I had to keep it hush-hush from you guys.” Not cool, Phelps, not cool…

“But Nicole and I are married,” he continued. “We are officially married and now we are getting the chance to kind of kick it and hang out now.” So why all the secrecy, asked a fan. “Just because,” Phelps replied.

Back in August, Johnson teased us with plans for two weddings in an Access Hollywood interview. “It’ll be small and intimate for the wedding and then we’re throwing a massive bash for everyone in the States,” she said, leading us to hope that this top-secret June wedding could’ve just been the “small and intimate” nuptials she was referring to, meaning we might still get to see Phelps and Johnson say their vows in that big, traditional bash. While Phelps didn’t have anything to say about those possible “I dos,” he did have something else big to reveal…

Phelps also hinted that he and Johnson have plans to add to their brood and give their five-month-old son, Boomer, a sibling. “Baby number two may be coming soon,” said Phelps. “Who knows, though?”
